We stayed right on the canal—literally on the water—which gave the whole place a wonderfully bohemian charm. The room was lovely and comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly and always helpful, and the breakfasts had a warm, personal touch that made each morning special. There’s even a fantastic hidden coffee spot right next door.

Everything was super! The garden is very beautiful, and in general, the area is very well maintained. The family is very helpful and the food was super delicious!

The owner was so helpful and sweet. He offered a map and lots of explanation around the island. We could rent motorbikes onsite which was needed to go around. Our rooms was clean and sufficient for a couple of days.

The location was perfect for us. Beautiful sandy natural beach with 2 low key and delicious restaurants, gorgeous lush vegetation, warm clear ocean to swim in. Kayaking and walks to neighbouring bays. A quiet and undeveloped spot to relax in. Hammocks to lie in, dinner and drinks on the beach. A magical spot if you like simple and natural.. The bungalow had a natural rattan interior, large bathroom, hairdryer, kettle, extra pillows when we asked, side light, comfortable and large bed, side and front balcony. Drying rack on one balcony. People very friendly and helpful. Receptive to any requests we had.

The location was amazing, because you were right beside the beach. The building itself was really aesthetically pleasing and had a beautiful beach theme. The resort provided a sup board, canoes, beach towels, snorkeling gear and floaties. The food at the restaurant was really good and the servers were kind and quick. There were a few vegatarian options to choose from and they were delicious. Breakfast was all you can eat and the omelets were the best. The resort staff were all super friendly and really went out of their way to help you. I would definitely recommend this resort and would love to come back.

Dara Homestay is absolutely lovely, well maintained and clean. It is a place with character and soul which makes it stand out from other places and resorts on the island. Ruben and Som are great hosts. They are kind, attentive and always happy to help with anything you may need. They have workout and fitness area which we absolutely loved. The cafe is also fantastic and a great place to chill with a coffee and a book. Lovely staff. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.
