This was our first time in Vermont & and we’ll definitely be booking this property again!

The holiday home is fitted with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with mountain views. Featuring air conditioning, this unit has a dressing room and a fireplace. The property has an outdoor dining area. The cabin is situated in the Green Mountains in a clearing in the trees giving the feeling of isolation although there are other properties nearby. It is beautifully designed with an open plan kitchen/living space and double bedroom downstairs as well as another double bedroom in the loft space. It is bright and very well appointed with comfortable beds, a nice bathroom (on the ground floor) with plenty of hot water and towels for the shower and the kitchen is very thoughtfully equipped with plenty of cooking pots, bowls and utensils, coffee maker, full stove and microwave. We loved that Gene and Mary had left the makings for pancakes and maple syrup for our breakfast. There is a deck with table and chairs where you can sit and watch the birds in the woods. Just at the end of the driveway there is a small waterfall and pool in the river where you can have a dip on a hot day. The cabin is locked by means of a digital keypad which means no worries about keys. We received detailed directions on how to reach the property from Gene who also gave us tips on where to shop on our way in and local places to visit. We had a really relaxing few days here and would definitely recommend the Magical Retreat Cottage.

It actually has 2 bedrooms. It’s very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Eric was nice and very responsive.
