The tented accommodation was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, blending into the surrounding landscape while still feeling like a high-end suite. Inside, the large bed was as plush and comfortable as any five-star hotel, complete with crisp linens and cozy throws. The kitchenette was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease – though, truth be told, we spent most of our time cooking outside. The outdoor braai area was perfect.and the wood-fired hot tub was the cherry on top – perfect for unwinding under the stars with a glass of wine in hand. The best part? The wildlife. From the comfort of our deck, we watched ostriches strut by, zebras grazing in the distance, and waterbuck meandering through the bush. It was like having our own personal safari without ever leaving the tent. This is glamping at its finest – all the immersion of the wilderness with none of the roughing it. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort.

We had a wonderful stay at Marula Cottage Guest Lodge. The location is perfect for visiting Marakele National Park, peaceful and just a short drive away. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared. What really stood out was the warm hospitality from Dave and Monika, who went out of their way to make us feel at home. They even prepared us a delicious dinner, which was a lovely and much appreciated after a long day. The garden and surroundings are quiet and relaxing, and breakfast the next morning was fresh and satisfying. A truly charming place with personal touches.

Had a great and peacefull time at Horizon Savannah. The tents are well maintained and the shared are was more than equiped for a bush visit. The night sounds in the tent is amazing. My family and I loved all the extra touches to the place and gestures from the host such as sweets on the bed, champagne, cake etc. Our stay was very pleasant and we are already talking about our next visit to this place.
