Lovely clean, quiet hotel in a small town. The room was on the third floor and only accessible by stairs, but easy to access. The room is a good size. The beds are two singles side by side, rather than a double bed, but that was fine as they were very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean and we could open the windows for fresh air. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was great with lots of hot water. The wifi was good and there was a TV, desk and wardrobe. No aircon, but it was fine. Breakfast was superb! Huge amount of food, with fresh bread, meat and cheeses, fruit and very good coffee. We didn't have a communication problem even though we spoke no German and they spoke no English. We used google translate. The check in process was very quick, as they live next door. There are restaurants close by and we had no problem finding dinner. Parking is right outside the hotel as well.

We loved our stay...the most amazing location with a wonderful view of the lake. We had two rooms...one had a patio where we could sit and enjoy the view. Close to the lake, train station and shops. Schmerikon is lovely

Beautiful building and room. Easy flat walk to the town centre, train and ferry. Fantastic breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and accomodating. Would 100% go back!

It was perfect for our family - our kids loved the play corner and its selection of toys and puzzles. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and the hotel is a 15-min leisurely walk from ether the town centre or the lake.

Both the room and bathroom were spacious, modern, spotless and had windows. The bed was comfortable, with nearby usb and normal plug sockets. Wifi was quick. Rösti for dinner was delicious, and the breakfast produce was fresh and tasty. Quiet, despite its central location. Free parking in front. Warm welcome from friendly owners. I would happily return!

I liked everything. The accommodation is 100% perfect in my personal opinion. Emmi and Jac the responsibles are amazing and friendly people. I really recommend the place. The view is indeed stunning. We got the recommendation from the receptionists (amazing lady) to follow the Denk Weg for walking around the area, amazing routes. The route is suitable for kids and we even cooked our dinner one evening on the fireplace in the woods. We also found out that they serve the vegetables from their own garden and they also care for food waste.
