The host, Lindsay, is someone you’d wish to have as part of your family. She has a lovely home, and we felt so welcomed that it was as if we were truly in our own house. We paid for the room, but all the care and attention we received from her were given freely. Nothing we needed ever seemed complicated. She was always available and visibly did everything with great pleasure. She also shared much information about Scotland with us, which greatly influenced and enriched our trip. I will definitely return there at some point in the future. She fully deserves the high rating she has on Booking. Additionally, the entire environment was very clean, organized, comfortable, and meticulously well-maintained. The breakfast is also excellent.

Andy and Sheila are amazing hosts, our stay with them was exceptional and we truly felt welcome. The house is located in a quiet neigbourhood, very clean and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with variety of items that we enjoyed very much. Millie, the dog, was a good company as well :)

From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel owner – a very kind and friendly person. We had a pleasant conversation, which set a positive tone for our entire stay. The room was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, and very cozy. We spent a lovely and relaxing time there. Later, we went for dinner and really enjoyed it – the food was delicious, and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. In the morning, we had breakfast – a classic English breakfast served buffet-style, so we could help ourselves. Some hot dishes were brought to us by a kind lady, including tasty eggs, bacon, sausages, and other delicious items. Although we stayed only one night, we had a truly enjoyable experience. Five stars from us for the hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and food. We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

Fantastic Hotel. The staff are amazingly helpful and genuinely enjoy their work. They are all so helpful. I had dinner on the Friday evening and it was first class and not overpriced. Presentation and service were first class. The room was large spacious and spotless. Comfy comfy bed. Just bring your toothbrush and toothpaste as all other toiletries provided by the hotel and good quality products. Breakfast was continental but you can have that as well as a choice of cooked to order breakfast. Again superb choice. I cannot wait to spend another wonderful night there.

Everything the place the location close for myself working in Edinburgh night shift. The Host was very friendly accommodation not OTT Just perfect. Bathroom facilities bath & shower brilliant very clean & tidy.. Towels clean fluffy.
