This was the second time we stayed here and it was just as great as the first. Very clean and all the finishing touches are so thoughtful. They let us know everything we needed to know in a message and left us dishwasher tablets and washing machine pods. Everything you forget is already there. It’s perfect for a big family and the dining table is so huge it’s great for board games which they supply. The beds are comfortable and it’s super helpful they have two bathrooms. It’s very much built for a big family reunion. We hope to do Christmas here every year.

We loved everything about Oliver West's Beautiful 1-Bedroom Retreat in Scarborough. The apartment was perfect and very good value for our three-night stay. We would highly recommend it to couples for a short stay in beautiful Scarborough and we hope to be able to visit again ourselves in the future. The ground floor accommodation comprises a large kitchen/dining/living room with a lovely view over a back garden area; bathroom/WC with a really good shower, and a large bay-windowed bedroom at the front of the property. We appreciated the provision of essentials such as coffee, tea, and washing-up liquid, dishcloth etc. The bedroom was warm, carpeted and comfortable with an exceptionally comfortable king-size bed and quality bedding. There is a wardrobe with plenty of hangers. A small chest of drawers/dressing table would be a welcome addition but not essential. The apartment was warm, clean, very comfortable and well-equipped for all our needs. Although the apartment is on the ground floor of what appears to be a multi-occupancy property, it was quiet and peaceful. Located a short walk from the South Cliff, with busy Ramshill Road en route, the apartment is perfectly located with shops, food outlets and a decent pub within a short distance. Ramshill Road is also on the bus route to Filey with frequent buses. We received clear instructions about how to access the property from our hosts well in advance and everything worked smoothly. It was very helpful to receive clear information about where to park and a parking disk was provided so that we could benefit from the 3 hour free parking outside the property, and in the wider vicinity. We encountered no difficulties at all with regard to parking thanks to the clear information provided by our hosts. The hosts checked in with us by text message during our stay and were absolutely charming! They immediately dealt with an issue that we raised with them and generally, they impressed as the perfect hosts.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeting by our hosts, Casey and Joe, and they couldn't have been nicer. They are such genuinely lovely people and they have a really nice B&B with a fantastic atmosphere. The place is spotlessly clean and the room is gorgeous. We had the attic room. The room has plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. The room has all the facilities you would need including a TV, fan, hairdryer and kettle. They also provide you with plenty tea, hot chocolate, several varieties of coffee and some tasty cookies too. The room also has plenty of sockets for any electrical items. The bathroom is stunning and has a large free standing rolltop bath that faces the window and there is a nice view out the window. There is also a nice shower. The bathroom is stocked with plenty clean towels and plenty toiletries are provided too. The room was serviced each day, towels were changed as needed and tea and coffee etc. was re-stocked. For breakfast, the options are varied to suit all tastes and the quality of food is excellent and delicious. The cooked breakfast is particularly good and certainly sets you up for the day. We didn't get to eat any evening meals there, but the menu looks great and from what I have heard, their food is fantastic. Based on how good the breakfast is, I was not surprised to hear such positive words about their other food. The B&B is also licenced and they have a bar. We did not drink in the B&B, but they have a decent selection of beers and quite an impressive selection of spirits, and in particular, a good selection of whisky. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Foulskye. We have booked again for next year and we are already looking forward to going back. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Ideal hotel location for our trip to the open air theatre, 10 minutes walk away. Great value for money. Very clean with very good facilities. Staff were excellent and attentive. Parking on site is good value for money. There is a lounge with a bar that serves drinks and food at reasonable prices. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we will use this hotel again next time we're in Scarborough.

I loved the location of this place, we were looking for somewhere cheap enough for one night when we had tickets for JLS at the open air theatre. One room for three of us was not only spacious but comfortable and clean, ideal for the price + only a few minute walk to the open air. Staff was there to meet at 3pm check in and let us know everything we needed for our stay, extremely friendly and welcoming. We also had a very nice view of the cricket club which was beautiful.
