Wat an absolute delight it is to stay in this little piece of paradise! Gorgeous decor, delicious food and drinks, kind and superb service. A place you will definitely feel at home. Madiha itself is also a good choice as a location, since you will find tranquility and beauty, but there are some really nice restaurants and chill places in the neighbourhood. And of course Mirissa, which is a lot busier, is 15 min away. We stayed here with our family of 4 and absolutely loved it!

Mr Janaka and the staff were very attentive and kind. I was travelling with my mother and aunt and they were given the 2 downstairs rooms, whilst I had one of the three rooms on the first floor. Every thing about the accommodation was clean and well maintained. The welcome drink on arrival, breakfasts were hearty and the dinner we had was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble, some refreshing afternoon tea after our touring was just what we needed.

It's a great place where you want to disconnect a bit, relax and enjoy your rest. The location was great, very close to the beach, you can walk in 7 min. The property is a villa and you have a home stay there. The man who manages everything is a really nice person, We had great time with him, had lots of talks, it was very lovely. They staff was great and they were also giving some tea, fruit sometimes for free as a treat, which was very lovely. The property was clean and the kitchen has everything we needed to cook. The pool was nice and clean, we had some relaxing time there as well. I will go back again for sure once I am in Matara.

I stayed at Royal Villa Polhena as a solo female traveler from Russia and had a wonderful experience. The villa is clean, quiet, and just a few minutes’ walk from Polhena Beach, with friendly and helpful hosts who made me feel completely safe. It’s close to the highway and bus stop, and Madiha Beach and The Doctor's House are within walking distance. I would highly recommend this villa to solo travelers excellent value for money ! 🙌🙌

Solo traveller staying in the king room adjacent to the lounge area. Bed and bathroom were very clean, facilties (pool and TV lounge) were great. Location is private and near beach. Breakfast was great - traditional and well-considered by the butler Shan.

Amazing location, right on the beach. Fantastic surf all day long! Staff is super super friendly and they serve an excellent dinner and breakfast at the beach. Also the room was very clean and comfortable. Don’t look any further, this was our favorite guesthouse in Sri Lanka.

Like many others who stay here, I ended up extending my visit. The location is ideal, just a few minutes from the beach. The room was a good size with a mosquito net and ceiling fan. Nayana and Neel are the most welcoming hosts you could ever hope to meet and made me feel right at home. I will be back!
