I loved everything in this hotel. The staff was fantastic, the cleaning lady was so kind. The location is excellent, you can go walking to the main places in Downtown Vancouver. We asked for help to scheduling our whale watching and the Concierge not only made the reservation, he warned us about the day with the best weather conditions for the tour.

It was our 7th time visiting Vancouver. So we've stayed at a lot of places in the past and can compare. Absolutely loved the Smithe House. Everything at the room/apartment is very well thought out, you have everything you need (*even umbrellas for the rainy Vancouver!). The staff is extremely helpful and nice, they were always available if we needed any help or support. So definitely happy with the stay 10/10.

Great location, very clean and well appointed, fantastic communication! The bed was really comfy for sleeping as well.

A warm, kind host welcomed us with delicious blueberries, ushered us into a tidy, well-organized room. The house was ornamented with various plants and pianos, and sort of soothing music was played during the daytime. 6 lovely cats were exploring the house, making the house even more loving to stay:) A garden in the backyard where we often had meal was beautiful, and the host gave us delicious dairy products! Guests can also use the laundry facilities complimentarily. Unless you are hypersensitive to cat fur, the sweet home might be one of the greatest choices for your travel!

First and foremost, Rohda was a great host. She tried her best to make me and my son feel at home while we were staying there for 3 days. Rohda was very generous to allow us to check-in early, and leave our luggages even after check-out. She even gave us a ride to the vancouver airport at night. So, special thanks to Rohda! We stayed in a double room with private bath, which was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen on the 1st floor was small but had everything we needed for cooking - oil, sugar, salt, soy source and many different kinds of herbs etc. My son liked to cook a korean dish and share with other guest. The house was located in a quiet residential area where we could hardly hear any noise from anywhere. The area seemed very safe and no problem to use a number of bus stops even at night. Overall, we truly enjoyed staying in the house and would like to recommend my friends if they visit Vancouver.

The simple kitchen comes with microwave, fridge (a freezer is separated for ice cream ), washing machine, a sink and pots & plates stuff. The owner of the room is very nice helpful. A tour guide book was designed by the host to help us to make a better travel plan. The location is easy to use buses and Skytrain to different places. Overall, we had a good time during our stay ❤❤
