Hugo was quite helpful. At first we doubted if we should reserve close to Termales / Arusi area to reach attractions on foot, but overall here was much better option.

TORTUGA BAY Eco Hotel está en El Valle, a 2,2 km de Playa El Almejal, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, zona de playa privada y terraza. Ofrece restaurante y bar. We did a tour to Utria National park. My expectation was entering the jungle with a nature guide to look for local animals. Instead we went on a beach tour. So be sure you explaine correctly what you expect to get the right tour. The other morning we went alone on a little path behind the hotel and managed to see a group of monkeys. So there are wild animals around. For the locals they are just so normal, they don't mention them. Among the local birds are also eagles. Same thing, locals won't mention them as special, as the are regularly seen.

Casa Alma, que tiene jardín, bar y vistas al mar, está en Capurganá, a 2,8 km de Playa de Capurganá. The location was very quiet and remote, only a one minute walk to the ocean. All of the meals were amazing, fresh and local.

The place is absolutely wonderful. An isolated paradise with few tourists and wonderful nature around. The place is well kept and clean. The mood is nice, staff is friendly, and the food is very good! The tours to see the whales, playa de los deseos and the jungle at night were very good!

Tiene una terraza muy linda, con vista al río Atrato. La gente que trabaja en el hotel muy amable y atenta. Gran atención. Queda muy cerca al Malecón.

Posada Los Palitos está en Bahía Solano, a 14 min a pie de Playa de El Almejal, y tiene terraza, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis. Good location in town and having the room cleaned daily was great in the hot weather!
