There is a book with lots of information about where to eat etc. We enjoyed a lovely swim on our return from a day out, which was very welcoming. We loved our stay here, and would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

Founded centuries ago as a stop for travelers and dignitaries alike, the hotel has hosted everyone from literary figures to royalty. Its walls echo with stories of grand celebrations and whispered secrets, giving every guest the sense of stepping into a narrative that continues to unfold. The rooms at Hotel de la Poste are a masterclass in blending historical charm with contemporary luxury. Each suite is individually decorated, featuring elegant French furnishings, sumptuous fabrics, and thoughtful touches that evoke a sense of timeless beauty. Modern amenities—such as high-speed Wi-Fi, climate control, and a state-of-the-art bathroom—were seamlessly integrated, offering every comfort without sacrificing character. A particularly memorable encounter was meeting Julien at his antique shop, Maison des Brocanteurs. His passion for history and storytelling was infectious, and he graciously shared insights into the treasures on display—a delightful extension of the hotel’s own character. Dining at Le 1815, the hotel’s acclaimed restaurant, was an unforgettable highlight. Le 1815 delivers culinary artistry at its finest. The sense of family and welcome permeated every interaction, making my husband and me feel not just like a guest, but cherished friends.

Le Cristallin gîte plein coeur de Chablis se nachází v destinaci Chablis a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi. Perfect locationm to explore the little own. Very spacious appartment with some quesionable colours (red linen ;-)) One should be cautious, if travelling with small kids...or dogs. Stairs are not protected form one side...our dog fell down, when going to dring some water in the kitchen. Nothing happened, luckily.

Storage for bicycles was a plus. Lovely selection of coffee and stuff. Brilliant find. Large bedroom and large lounge/dining area. Communication was good. Self check-in was easy.
