Staying at Perigiali was the perfect little bonus to our trip to Folegandros. The place is lovely, with a shady café on the ground floor and white stairs leading up to the rooms in true Cycladic village style. Our room faced the sea — breezy, spotless, and beautifully designed with a charming blend of traditional Greek style and contemporary touches. We appreciated the attention to detail, from the tasteful decor to the high-quality toiletries. Breakfast, included in the stay, offered a variety of options, so even after several days we never got bored. There’s also an à la carte menu available at an extra charge, with dishes made with care — you can really taste the love in the food. They even provide beach umbrellas you can take with you, which was a thoughtful touch. Last but not least, the staff was absolutely fantastic — always smiling, sweet, and incredibly helpful, offering us great tips to explore the island. We’d love to come back soon.

We did not recceive breakfast because it was end of season. We would have appreciated some yogurts or croissant to have in the morning.

Relatively big room with a small well equipped kitchen and a big and nice balcony, on second floor. The room seems to be new, Maybe we were the first visitors? Located a minute walk from central part of Chora (the sea view), the restaurants of the main square and old town, and one or two minutes walk to the bus station. Also near the path up to the church. We will absolutely try to have same room also next time to Folegandros!

Our original room had an issue with the air conditioner being faulty. We were immediately upgraded to a lovely suite. Thank you for that. The pool and bar were great with stunning sunset views. Closeness to village beautiful village and friendly locals excellent. Would definitely return here to stay. The Hotel picked us up from the ferry and supplied a return journey when leaving the island which was much appreciated.

Hotel Meltemi s bílými stěnami se nachází na okraji malebného města Folegandros a nabízí tradiční ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi. We stayed for four nights in early May. First of all, Folegandros is an amazing little island. It was the beginning of the season so some places were not open yet, but neither were there tons of tourists so it was peaceful and wonderful. There are a few little markets to pick up groceries, there were several open restaurants. Meltemi was a really great stay. A quintessential complex of white washed buildings with blue doors connected by a maze of stairs. Our room had double doors that opened to a view of the hills, so we opened them every morning and lay in bed looking out at the view, and we sat on the balcony late into the evening. The room was clean and spacious, had a fridge, the beds were comfy. The location was perfect, right in town and a short walk to the switchback trail up to the high point and Church of Paragia. The views from there and from a viewpoint in town are spectacular. For hikers, lots of trails, including a spectacular coastal trail from Angali to Agios Nikolaos beach where we went swimming. Easy to rent a car for the 12 km length of the island but there are buses as well making it unnecessary to need a car for some. Can’t say enough about the island and Meltemi was a great place to stay. Note, if you have a car you park in the parking lot on the outside of town and walk in (not far) to the hotel. A note about the bathroom, we had no issues - the shower does not have a curtain so the floor can get wet, however we were in 15 different places all over Greece and just about all the showers were the same, open with no curtain.
