Very well located, quiet and newly built. Parking even possible for free if patient to look for a free spot and otherwise there is a parking lot near by which doesn’t cost that much. Breakfast was offered in a bar (coffee and croissant). Good value for money.

Excellent spot for a night in Matera. We were staying in a villa in Puglia and booked a last minute stay to experience Matera in the day and night. The apartment is a great location with various parking (paid) nearby. The service and check in was a breeze and the lady was very helpful at check in. Lovely clean room and nice bathroom, would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a stay in Matera!

Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. The half board package was great. The restaurant is really good. The Pool and Spa a must experience. The room was very comfortable. Location was the best.

Σε ιδανική τοποθεσία στην περιοχή Sassi di Matera του προορισμού Ματέρα, το LA DIMORA DELLE 3 ZIE απέχει 600μ από Matera Cathedral, 400μ από MUSMA Museum και 400μ από Casa Grotta nei Sassi. Such an amazing Cave hotel. the people are friendly. The room was spacious, with high ceilings. the furniture and amenities all on point. the bed and sleep-sofa both were comfortable, while still also looking like a cave <3 The room also comes with 2 giant moisture guards that keep the room nice. they make noise but can be switched off when going to sleep. Be sure to expect some humidity as it is a cave, this is not a negative point to me as it is logical but it appears not everyone was prepared for it haha You order breakfast the day before. It is then delivered to the room in the morning at the time you choose. The selection was good and the food lovely. on a final note, the entire city and also the hotel is surrounded by slopes and stairs. Wear some good shoes and take your time to get your luggage to and from the place you are staying. There is a manned parking garage near the hotel on the Via Vena (Parcheggio Communbale Via Vena) (few min walk) which costs 20 euro's a day. good price!

Beautiful, new facility. Very close to the old town. Coffee making with pod machine. Extremely helpful welcoming staff (Sabina) helped with orientation of the old town and where to catch our bus to leave town at the end of our stay.

From the time we arrived at the reception we knew we were in for a great stay. The city and the hotel were magical , we did not want to leave. Antonio gave us the warmest welcome. He was informative and you knew the entire staff were dedicated to making your stay the best it could be. The breakfast was delightful with typical Italian selections and alternatives to meet anyone’s needs. It’s hard to put your camera down even the bathroom is worth a picture. We travel extensively and this stay definitely stands out . We would recommend and hope to return someday to enjoy their delightful wines and ambience , Millie Grazie

We stayed in one of the luxury rooms. We chose it not for the jacuzzi but for the view: the entrance of the room is in one of the village alley, but then you open the balcony door and you are at the edge of the world. Due to this position, I can imagine that this room is very quiet even in the main tourist season. We visited Matera in November, there where a few people but it was very enjoyable. Excellent breakfast and kind, welcoming staff. Recommended.
