Absolutely the best and most comfortable stay during our 2 weeks trip to Japan. The place is perfect in every way possible. Super clean, very spacious, very responsive host, parking is not far, very closed to 7-Eleven. Easy check-in/out. The place is easy to find, especially with the blue neon light in the front. There are AC unit in every room, and they worked great.

I only stayed for one night to be close to Nokogiri Mt. for hiking, but Ken-ken was extremely helpful and generous while I was there. One of my favorite memories from my two week trip to Japan will be my stay in this little town of Hota, much thanks to Ken-ken's hospitality and guidance for places to visit and eat at while I stayed. He recommended the cutest izakaya when I told him I was looking for dinner and a few beers called Rest Inn Wassup! The owner and cook there were so nice, and we had a good time visiting even though we were mostly speaking through Google Translate. Please don't be afraid to visit this little town if you want to see some authentic Japanese small-town life and great hiking. I was able to get around fairly easily, but be aware the public transportation is limited and it can get dark in the neighborhood at night. Rest assured, though, if you stay with Ken-ken, he will make your stay comfortable and worthwhile!

Lovely view of the incoming trains and foot traffic of the train station nearby, just far enough away to not be noisy. Delicious breakfast.

It's super clean and new (very clean!). It was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen appliances were complete and beautiful. The entire house was nicely designed. Very open concept layout and spacious. The balcony was outstanding for breakfast on a sunny day. Check in was smooth and parking was spacious.

The location is very nice, the house is perfect for 2 adults and possibly one kid. The inside is modern, well maintained, and with all the necessary things for a short - medium stay. We loved the garden in the night with the terrace, was super relaxing, perfect for disconnect a little. The host was super kind. Recommendable 100%

The feeling of warmth, coziness and comfort filled my being. It was beyond what I expected. The serene and peaceful environment also made the difference. This special house is fully equipped, spotless clean and everything was arranged so neatly that I had to think twice before I had the heart to use them. We were welcomed by our hosts with a very friendly gesture, they were so helpful and we communicated with laughter. This was a stay that I will never forget and I will definitely be back again. Thank you so much.

Chiba Homestay by Lek บ้านพักใกล้นาริตะโตเกียว se nachází v destinaci Yotsukaidō a nabízí zahradu, terasu a sdílenou kuchyň. Chiba Museum of Science and Industry se nachází jen 26 km odtud. Everything. Lek’s family is wonderful, I was fortunate to have spent some time in the very beautiful garden while the family was relaxing. Lek’s daughter constructed a sort of terrarium/miniature garden that was really fun to witness. The house is beautifully decorated and quite the treat to stay at. Lek was very accommodating and I could not thank her enough. There is a bus that can take you to the Yotsukaido train station but I had no issue walking to the station as it’s really only one or two turns depending on the route you take. Nearby Chiba has many restaurants, live music, and a large and interesting park by the port (a Native American totem pole near the Chiba port tower that was gifted from a sister port in Oregon, USA) One train straight to Tokyo is available from Yotsukaido or a local train that has a transfer in Chiba (only one platform over). Yotsukaido itself is very peaceful and has great restaurants as well one of which is only a block away from the property.
