Very good location, with walking access to a lot of attractions. A bus station near by made the travelling more easier. The staff was very kind and helpfull.

Everything is perfect, the location is basically in the heart of Kyoto. The hotel is surrounded by Japanese restaurants, cafes, interesting clothing shops and deli, like Lawson and 7/11. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities are excellent, too. Very new and modern, the bed and pillows are super comfortable, will give you a good night sleep after a long day of sightseeing. Highly recommended Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo Premier.

The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the train station and about a 20-minute walk to Nishiki Market. The hotel offers everything you could need to make your stay pleasant and welcoming. The rooms are clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a fantastic bathroom and all the amenities you could ask for. The lobby features a cozy social lounge with light refreshments available 24/7, including a wide selection of hot and cold drinks, and even a beer/wine machine for only 500 yen per glass. Additional thoughtful features include a washing machine and dryer, a coin exchange machine, bicycles for guest use, refillable water bottles, and more. Everything is designed with the guest’s comfort in mind – simply amazing! When I return to Kyoto, this will undoubtedly be the hotel I choose, without hesitation.

Amazing location, cute view, very quiet. LOTS of restaurants nearby. Very clean room, and modern looking. I absolutely loved the bathroom which featured both a shower and a bath. Very cool for our 2 year old. Breakfast was delicious and featured a mix of Japanese and western style food. Staff was amazing and very helpful and spoke excellent English. One of the most pleasant hotels I’ve ever been too! Would come again !!

Room was small (as expected) but very bright and warm and the space was used really well. Actually, it was the only Japan room we stayed in that had a closet! And the bed and the shower were both some of the biggest we experienced during our Japan visit! We also loved the lounge area and it was a great touch that they provided free drinks there.
