Lankavatara Ocean Retreat se nachází v obci Kalametiya, 15 km od laguny Tangalle. Nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi připojení ve všech prostorách, celoroční venkovní bazén, bar a soukromé neplacené parkoviště. Ubytování bylo nádherný a to především okolí resortu. Vybavení, bazén, lehátka a ubytování přímo na pláži. Za našeho pobytu bylo méně lidí a byla to naprostá pecka! Maximální relax. Restaurace s výhledem a výborným jídlem. Snídaně jedna z nejlepších co jsme na Srí Lance měli.

Yakaduru Yala se nachází v nárazníkové zóně národního parku Yala. Je to jen 5 minut od vchodu do národního parku Yala. Staying at Yakaduru was one of the best ideas we had during the trip in Sri Lanka. The staff looked after us and took us on an amazing walk around the hotel. They have a wealth of knowledge about animals, they are true enthusiasts! Hotel clean, very well maintained. Food - adapted to European tastes ;-) very delicious ... and lots of it .... Safari expedition (in our case a full day) - was great. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to meet nature face to face and relax!

Beautiful and clean property overlooking one of the areas lakes. Staff was highly motivated, great food and Madu organized a safari which was amazing.

This is a very comfortable hotel and the family who runs it is lovely! They took me to see bats flying at sunset and cooked incredible meals. I also did the full day safari - my guide was extremely knowledgeable and respectful of the animals’ environment.

Gem of a place. As mentioned in other reviews the rooms are basic BUT comfortable and clean. For the price they are more than perfect. The setting itself was wonderful - right by the lake, surrounded by wildlife. In the evening, the host took us by tuktuk/scooter for a free tour of the lakes where we saw varans, bats, many birds including two beautiful owls !, and even a (harmless) snake. I booked my Yala safari with the host the day before and we could tell that the driver was more experienced than others. We saw all the wildlife one could see in Yala - leopards, crocodiles, varans, many birds, elephants, mongooses and even a sloth bear ! Perfect place, I'm happy I choose it.

Word cannot express how grateful we are to Nalin and Isharni for welcoming us into their home during Sinhalese New Year. Staying at Black Panther Yala was the absolute highlight of our two weeks in Sri Lanka. It was such a special weekend where we learnt/ate traditional food (e.g. oil cake), participated in the rituals and traditions and met the neighbours and relatives. The room was comfortable and the food delicious. Dinner included is such a rare treat. The location is lovely, set next to the wetlands. You can borrow bike and ride around the area. We did a safari through a driver that our host recommended and it was amazing. I would highly recommend Black Panther to anyone!
