Hotel River Front was a little piece of paradise for the 2 nights we stayed here (with my husband and 5 year old). The entire property is immaculately clean - from the gardens to the rooms and bathrooms - it was spotless. Room and bathroom was large, good hot water in shower, good air-conditioning, lovely balcony overlooking garden wirh river at the bottom. Pool was fabulous and great to relax around after a safari. We ate dinner at the hotel on both nights. Food was really delicious and good choice. Breakfast was included in the package and was very good (fresh pancakes, fruit, toast, eggs, sausage, etc...). On the morning of our safari they packaged a breakfast up for us which was appreciated. Hotel organised a private safari for us. Channa was our guide and was brilliant. So knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we had a great day. We saw loads of animals including leopards and the scenery was stunning. A special thanks to all the staff who made our stay so special- they all do a fabulous job and made us so very welcome. If we are back in the area we would definitely stay here again.

Ubytování bylo nádherný a to především okolí resortu. Vybavení, bazén, lehátka a ubytování přímo na pláži. Za našeho pobytu bylo méně lidí a byla to naprostá pecka! Maximální relax. Restaurace s výhledem a výborným jídlem. Snídaně jedna z nejlepších co jsme na Srí Lance měli.

Yakaduru Yala se nachází v nárazníkové zóně národního parku Yala. Je to jen 5 minut od vchodu do národního parku Yala. The hosts were fantastic - particularly Hasitha. I was the only one staying during my visit (low season), but they filled my time with plenty of unforgettable activities. A highlight was the moonlight safari - we managed to spot a leopard during our drive which is very rare (I didn't see any during my safari at Yala). The food was amazing, probably some of the best meals I had during my stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts provided ample fresh drinking water (free of charge) which was a nice change from some of the other places I stayed. Other guests have commented on wildlife within the rooms. I mostly just saw some frogs and lizards, nothing too scary :)

Bohužel v okolí nejsou skoro žádné restaurace, takže doporučuji využít možnost stravování v ubytování.

This hotel was simply the best stay ever! From the moment we arrived, everything was beyond amazing. The hotel is brand new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed, with modern, stylish rooms and pristine bathrooms. We had a room right next to the pool (yes, there are actually two pools!), making it feel like a private paradise. One of the biggest highlights was the breakfast – hands down the best on Earth. Every single day, we were treated to a different, incredibly delicious, and rich selection of food, showcasing a mix of local and international flavors. We couldn’t get enough! The owners are absolutely wonderful. The host is super friendly, and his wife is the sweetest person ever. She even made us healthy cocktails and packed a homemade lunch for our long journey, which was such a thoughtful touch. Their kindness made the experience even more special. The location is peaceful and stunning, tucked away in a quiet, lush area. However, it’s very easy to reach the beautiful beaches of Tangalle with a quick tuk-tuk ride or by renting a scooter (which we did, and it was so much fun exploring the area!). Even though we skipped the touristy turtle-watching tours, we were lucky enough to see a baby turtle hatching and making its way to the sea while on a walk – such a magical moment! The bed was super comfy, the AC worked perfectly, and we loved relaxing on the private terrace attached to our room. Every single detail was carefully thought out to create an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for an amazing stay with warm hospitality, the most incredible food, and a perfect location, look no further. I 100% recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat!

Our stay at Art Yala Boutique Resort was absolutely wonderful! Muda and his team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The food was amazing, and the location is simply stunning—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the safari into Yala National Park that Muda organised for us. It was a seamless and memorable experience. The team’s thoughtfulness didn’t stop there—they even helped us book a restaurant at our next destination, which was incredibly helpful and kind. We stayed for two nights and genuinely wished we had stayed longer. Thank you, Muda and team, for such a fantastic experience. We can’t wait to come back!

New Cormorant Lake Resort provided an excellent experience from start to finish. The host graciously guided us around the lake at no extra cost, sharing his extensive knowledge about the local animals and plants. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, even welcoming us with a drink upon arrival. The room was clean, nice, simple, and comfortable, providing just what we needed for a relaxing stay. The surroundings of the resort are beautiful and bring you close to nature. I highly recommend New Cormorant Lake Resort for anyone seeking a good accommodation close to Yala National Park.
