Probably one of my best if not the best hostel experience I have ever had. Looks very cool, it’s clean, great staff, comfy, I met great people there with whom we became like best friends for 3 days. Beautiful memories. Thank you. Also, I’d like to mention that I stayed in a mixed dorm which I was a bit sceptical about first, because usually I go to female dorms only, but it turned out to be good, the curtains on the bed provide privacy and all the guests were so nice. Ibi and his staff made this place just amazing. Everything was clean, the common areas and the room. We also enjoyed the food in the evening wich was freshly cooked and the breakfast was excellent too. Thank you again for everything and for taking care of Julia, we will be definitely back.

Chrystele, Bruno and Abdul were the perfect hosts, and served up an amazing breakfast every morning. We were extremely well looked after, but it also felt like we were with friends. We had dinner every night which was always faultless and got to eat with a different group of people each night who were staying in their motorhomes. A cosy fire was the perfect end to the evening.

We stayed 2 nights (Feb 15-17) with Maison 250 in a Superior Room. Why do we easily give an excellent rating? The lovely, super hospitable owners and managers Chris and Craig The Riad was remodeled by them to an extremely upscale and tasteful standard Just opened in Sep 2024 - everything brand new Extremely tasteful, thought through and high-end interior and decoration Great location just behind the medina wall at the south-east corner in the medina with a few minutes’ walk to the parking place (if you have your own car as we had this is very handy) We loved our room on the upper floor with windows to the outside and to the atrium - a lot of day light in the room which is not common for Riads. Room was big and cozy at the same time. Great roof terraced. A clear top recommendation! Follow the recommendation of the owners for restaurants (we e.g. loved La Couple within a 15-minute walk) The riad is a perfect relaxed fit to the relaxed atmosphere of Essaouira. This is an easy return for us (we live in the NL and there are convenient flights to Essaouira)
