We had a very comfortable stay here. Our room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed—ours happened to be a four-poster, though not every room has one. There’s a fridge, coffee-making facilities, a smart TV, efficient air-conditioning, and a ceiling fan. The bathroom was spotless and finished to a high standard. The property operates more like an Airbnb: there’s no permanent reception staff. Check-in is via a key lock box, cleaners come daily, to service rooms that have checked out , and any communication is handled quickly through WhatsApp. The small pool is perfect for cooling off, though not for serious swimming. The hotel is just a block from the boardwalk with its restaurants, clubs, shops, and a couple of sandy beach areas. Overall, it felt quite luxurious and I would happily stay here again.

It was right over the ocean! It was spacious and clean! We saw whales from the beautiful patio! It had an amazing restaurant next door! The staff was really great! Delicious food served by the restaurant and staff that go out of their way to accommodate any requests. The pools were clean and a perfect temperature. Less than a 10-min easy walk into old, colonial PV. Can’t say enough good things about Marcela Resort & Spa. Hated leaving and look forward to our return.

The property was incredibly! Absolutely gorgeous lobby, gym, two infinity pools, and the lounge chairs were great! The room was enormous! The beds were so soft and comfortable! The staff were beyond helpful! I loved that they would text with us to make sure things were going well. Also I have to note that the staff all went above and beyond to help my friend who lost her wallet in a cab. Because of their work we were able to get it back! Quite the miracle! They were helping and checking in even after we had left the property! I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about the staff! So grateful we were there when it happened!
