I liked everything, there was a restaurant and bar if you wanted to be social but each room was also eqipped with its own kitchen/braai area. I loved the AC in the room and the beautiful view

Just a short walk away, you'll find a small pool with refreshingly cool and clear water – perfect for relaxing. We were warmly welcomed and felt completely at home during our stay.

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant. The rooms lookout onto the desert plains with window walls for excellent viewing of the wildlife (if you’re lucky). Rooms were very clean and had no annoying lights from appliances - a lovely change! If you opt for the dinner then you are able to watch the most spectacular sunset. Excellent variety of food for vegetarians and delicious! Extremely friendly staff. A short drive to the petrol station and convenience store to stock up on snacks for the rest of your road trip.

The location was absolutely beautiful, amazing scenery! Rooms were comfortable and just perfect, well stocked with everything you may need for self-catering.
