The view was incredible, and I experienced the best starry sky of my life. All these elements combined made my stay at their lodge a dream, offering both comfort and warmth on the island. From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

The house and the room were really nice and clean, and Sonia cooked some nice meals for us. Vidal helped us organise the transport to and from the island, including the tour of the Uros and Taquile islands, and he accompanied us from and to the port.

The night was getting chilly so the lady of the house provided us with bottles of hot water to warm up the beds. There are very nice views of the lake from the house. All food was cooked fresh.
