Llegamos un poco tarde al alojamiento después de todo el día sin comer y la cocina estaba ya cerrada pero fueron muy amables sirviéndonos una sopa de verduras y unos huevos revueltos de champiñones. Delicioso, por cierto. El personal era muy agradable y el desayuno incluido una maravilla con productos caseros y locales. Las instalaciones y el entorno muy bonito.

The hotel is magnificent, the rooms are large, cozy, everything is very clean and well-kept. The hosts are very polite and responsive. I can separately recommend their breakfasts and dinners, homemade food is very tasty. For those who love nature, there are excellent tracks around.

We left a piece of our heart at Hiša Pečovnik. The location is outstanding: On a mountain, surrounded by woods and with an incredible view. The house is really cozy, all wooden inside, both in the common areas and in the rooms, and very well looked after. The breakfast (included) and dinner (not included, but 100% recommended) are out of this world. They have a lot of local or auto-produced products and the cook is incredibly gifted. There also is a big fitness area, as well as a Jacuzzi and sauna, which we had the chance to try and truly enjoyed. Nearby there are many beautiful things to visit, such as the Logarska Dolina, Velika Planina and much more (Slovenian Alps are breathtaking). But what truly makes this place one in a million is the Pečovnik family. They are the kindest hosts imaginable: always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely sweet. We’ve just left, and we’re already dreaming of coming back as soon as possible!

Super clean and fresh-smelling rooms, beautiful surroundings – a little stream right next to the house and deer walking around like it’s nothing. Totally magical! Breakfast was amazing – all local stuff: fresh eggs, bread, ham, cheese… everything delicious and homemade. But the best part? The lovely owner! She treated us like family – so warm, kind, and caring. We honestly felt like we were staying with close relatives, not in a guesthouse. I totally recommend this place to anyone. It’s one of those rare spots you just want to come back to.
