The location was absolutly amazing. Right on top of the waterfalls. It took 1h on a beautiful boat ride to arrive. That was part of the magical. We saw Elephants, Hippos, Crocodiles, Birds and an unforgettable sunset. I belive that no other camps or resorts are located inside the park. The team was excellent and the food was very, very good. We had dinner right bellow a sky full of stars. The next day we went with the team to visit the falls (on the opposite side where the tourists usually see them).

Fort Murchison Lodge by NATURE LODGES LTD se nachází v destinaci Pakwach East a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, celoročně otevřený venkovní bazén, terasu a výhled na řeku. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve stayed in several places around Murchison Falls National Park, but this is by far the best in terms of value for money and facilities. The location is simply amazing — though it’s just outside the park, it gives you a peaceful stay without paying daily park entrance fees. It’s only about a 20-minute drive to the safari gate, so access to the park is still very easy. The food was fantastic — honestly, the best I’ve had anywhere in Uganda! The staff, especially Charles and his team, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My kids absolutely loved the swimming pool and the play area — it kept them entertained for hours, and the overall environment was calm and relaxing for the whole family.

A great location for excellent chimp trekking and a break in the journey from Entebbe. Prossy was just so helpful and her African cookery was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. Value for money was unbelievable and we really enjoyed our two nights. WiFi very good.

Red Chilli Rest Camp se nachází v destinaci Murchison Falls National Park a poskytuje zahradu a bar. Jen 35 km odtud se nachází Bugungu Wildlife Reserve. This was a great camp with a good atmosphere and wonderful rooms. We stayed in a family room which had 4 beds, shower and bathroom. The beds were very comfortable with superbly clean linen, the room was huge, and there were really high quality mosquito nets around every bed. The room had a terrace area on the front with rattan furniture, and the choice to have limited power to the rooms after a certain hour meant that we could really enjoy the sky full of stars - a rare treat for those of us from light-polluted Europe. The camp was open to passing wildlife and the kids really enjoyed having warthogs and baboons passing through. On top of all of this the camp offered giant portions of food at mealtimes and provided packed breakfast if you wanted to go out early. We really enjoyed everything about our stay, and it was really excellent value for money.
