Everything about this well located guest house is excellent. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The host who checked me in was charming. The breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked and there was plenty of options from the buffet table. There is a sparkling pool to cool off in and the gardens are picture perfect. The communication from the owner was prompt, giving direction before arrival, to dealing with all my requirements. If only everyone run there business like this it would be a pleasure to travel. I will definitely be using this guest house on all future visits to Cape Town. Can highly recommend.

The cottage was absolutely spotless when I arrived. Marianne went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable from beginning to end. The fresh fruit and treats every day added to a wonderful stay. I cannot fault anything. It was superb in every sense of the word.

The hostess was super accommodating regarding my late booking and check in. The flatlet is spacious and luxurious and well laid out with beautiful sunshine streaming through when you open the blinds and curtains... The kitchen has everything you could need. With a Mall within walking distance. Lots of privacy and convenient access. Definitely on my favourites list now. The owners respect your privacy and are the cutest couple I've ever met!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sunbird Studio Apartment during one of Cape Town's coldest weeks, and we couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and welcoming place. The apartment was perfectly heated with a large gas heater, and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we stayed warm—providing plenty of blankets and even offering more as the weather got colder (though we were already more than comfortable). We were welcomed with thoughtful touches like snacks and chocolates, which made us feel immediately at home. The unit is well-equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge, and a TV with Netflix—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Check-in was easy, with a key and remote provided, which made access to the property simple and convenient. We also really appreciated having our own privacy in the unit throughout our stay. Overall, this was a lovely, cozy escape with a very attentive host. Highly recommended, especially for winter stays!
