I stayed long term at The Wantage Suites while visiting Johannesburg. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Location is great, super closer to mall, safe to walk around. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Joburg!

The space is very safe and Uber arrived always within about 2 minutes. The breakfast was wonderful. I had some washing, and it was no problem. It got done for me the same day.

Enjoyed every second of this trip and my stay in the cottage . Will come back again for sure. Helpful stuff and the owners were very attentive.

The Monarch Hotel se nachází v atraktivní lokalitě ve čtvrti Rosebank v destinaci Johannesburg. The minute I set foot in this hotel, I loved it so much that I booked another night. It’s luxurious in every way, yet somehow still homely and intimate. Every member of staff was not only kind and thoughtful in helping me with my bags and storage, accommodating last-minute requests, etc—but went above and beyond to ensure guest happiness. Everyone was incredible and deserves high praise, although I must give special thanks to the head of guest experience (Francine?). Best service I have ever seen, even relative to other 5-star properties. The food was superb…I particularly enjoyed the peri peri chicken, malva pudding, and watermelon chilli mocktail. I also loved this lavender/white chocolate drink they made with nondairy milk…ugh I’m getting hungry just thinking about it! I should also note how conveniently located it is—literally right by Rosebank Gautrain, with nearby shops, restaurants, etc. Thank you for a fabulous stay! This is the only place I wish to return when next in Johannesburg, and I passionately recommend this hotel to all.

Thank you so much for hosting us! We had a wonderful stay at your property. The room was stunning, impeccably clean, and the high-quality bedding made the bed incredibly comfortable. Your thoughtful gesture of providing juice, chocolate, and coffee was a delightful surprise. The shower was fantastic with plenty of hot water, which was a real treat. The room was equipped with all the basic necessities, making our stay very convenient. Additionally, the location was perfect, with Sandton Mall just about 5 minutes away. Overall, we found it to be exceptional value for money.
