Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

Was very secluded, you had your own area, toilet and shower. We stayed at the ‘pigeonhole’ and it was great. Very well looked after, good all around!

At Kronenhof is an incredible property, with awesome campsites, the best during our time in Namibia while self driving! Private campsites are clean and wonderfully located, allowing seclusion in a picturesque landscape. The dark sky we saw here was sublime and we enjoyed exploring by 4x4 and seeing giraffes and other animals! An unforgettable experience.

Namib Desert Campsite se nachází v destinaci Solitaire. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. Location is good - only an hour or so drive to Sesriem. The campsite is 4km away from the lodge so there is zero light pollution and so the night sky is amazing.

Neuhof Portion 2 Campsite se nachází v destinaci Sesriem a poskytuje vybavení pro grilování a výhled do zahrady. Všechny ubytovací jednotky mají terasu s výhledem na hory. The staff was very friendly. We arrive at 6 at night and they have set up a tent already for us with a stretcher and matrass. Our stay was very nice had lots of shade. The bathroom and kitchen sink was not far from our tent. Just remember to ask them to "stook the donkey" for hot water.
