We cannot recommend this cabin enough- it’s in the most idyllic setting by a river. It is excellently equipped with- we cooked a full roast dinner for New Year’s Day. It’s cosy and warm. We stayed in polar winter and saw the aurora every night - even from the decking. We built campfires with the kids with cheap wood bought from the owner and had them in one of their fire pits. We went on excursions to see reindeer, go snow shoe walking (self hired with maps at Skibotn hotel) , went on a snowmobile trip and a dog sled trip. All these trips happen in Skibotn valley - many people travel daily from Tromsø here to do these activities - staying here meant we could spend more time enjoying ourselves rather than travelling Absolutely 5 star experience which I would recommend

We booked this house for a stopover during a long drive, and it was exactly what we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and cozy, making it a great place to rest. The house itself was an authentic wooden home with a warm and charming feel, and it had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. A nice, simple, and pleasant stopover experience!

Some fun and games with the husky sledding from this beginner but glad to have the experience. The cuddles with all the huskies after a shared dinner was sooo awesome! The staff were great and even ensured my tricky diet was catered for. Thanks everyone for a great stay!

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The kitchen had all the essentials we needed to make meals. The beds were comfortable. The included breakfast was very good. There was a small playroom that our son really enjoyed. Very peaceful and beautiful location.

BEDEHUSET Basecamp Senja está en Skaland y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, jardín con terraza y vistas al mar. El camping ofrece barbacoa. Estaba todo muy nuevo, la cocina bien equipada y también lavadora y secadora disponible. La habitación era agradable, el colchón bastante cómodo cosa poco habitual en Noruega. Supermercado 24/7 a escasos metros. Las vistas son preciosas, muy tranquilo y si te gusta el hikking tienes un trail muy cerca.
