Cabins in Kapama Private Game Reserve

Had an enjoyable experience for our first ever safari, the River Lodge was tastefully decorated and had ample space for guests to roam around and soak in nature. The planning of meal/snack times and activities was done very well, it made the whole safari experience seamless and we felt that our time there was well spent. We could also see impalas coming to our room's balcony area! The food was tasty and well plated! We had a wide selection of both food and beverages. The restaurant staff were friendly too. The main highlight would still be the safari drives. Our safari guide and spotter (Tervin and Philip) did an amazing job teaching and showing us about wildlife (e.g. animal sightings, footprints, animals' diet). They also shared about the vegetation and how it relates to parts of their culture. They took great care of us by giving us blankets when the days started to get cold. They were hospitable, friendly, and professional as well. Our guides made our first safari trip even more memorable with their warm personalities.

The property was modern, welcoming and beautiful. We loved spending time in the pool. And the hang out spots (bar, restaurant, Boma) were all beautiful.

The Host is very kind and takes care about her customers from the first second you arrive. Located in a pictures scenery, privateness guarantued, due to size of the camp in a Nature Reserve. We have seen all big five, thanks to Leandra and her amazing team. We will come back!!!

The luxury tents were very comfortable and had a great view over the dam. Unfortunately the hippos had decided to stay in another dam opposite but we got to see lots of monkeys/baboons, giraffe, zebras and even a Warthog. The staff were fantastic and we were very well looked after. Unfortunately it rained a fair bit but we kept ourselves occupied in the main lodge with various games. Sly was amazing on the game drive and walk and extremely passionate and knowledgable.

We had a great time there and had amazing guides who went over and about to make the experience the best possible!

It is truly the most beautiful accommodation we have ever been to (and we are regular booking.com customers). The decor and style of the owner is sublime. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. The accommodation is equipped with everything you think you need. Super clean. A great chef who makes you a 5-star breakfast every morning. Very reasonable drink prices with the honest bar principle, write down what you used. The location is central and very safe. Wildlife in the backyard. Indeed, you never want to leave here.
