Sometimes people can’t be bothered to write reviews , however having such a wonderful stay with the fantastic staff and owners we feel obligated to try to put into words what a truly magnificent time we had at the Paradise Lodge Apartments. What a fantastic place and it all started each day with a wonderful breakfast. First a plate of fresh fruit picked right from the property, then a choice of omelet , scrambled eggs, sunny side up, or simple toast and jam made to order with a delicious side of rice and beans, fresh avocado, queso frito, and bacon. plus orange juice and delicious Costa Rican Coffee. From the moment we arrived the hospitality was excellent, taking our bags from the car to our super clean and spacious room and making sure we had everything we needed. The apartments are in side of a gated property which will give you a strong sense of security and safety, with ample parking very close to the rooms. The property is aptly named as it is truly a slice of paradise. From the little porch outside the rooms to the beautiful grounds and swimming pool every detail is spectacularly maintained. We wish we were able to spend more time on the property which I am sure we will do next time as we had some business to attend to on this trip so we weren’t able to enjoy the property as much as we would of liked. We did however find the time to explore the beautiful property including the shorter of the trails that go around the property. We just cant say enough about the fantastic time we had at this location. If your going to this area of Costa Rica stay at Paradise Lodge…. You wont regret it….

The hosts are super nice and will help you with arranging anything. They gave us very helpful tips about guided tours and hiking trails nearby. We recommend to get breakfast and dinner there, it is really good and freshly prepared.

Las Bromelias Lodge se nachází v destinaci Paso Macho a má bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a výhled na hory. Cerro de la Muerte se nachází 28 km odtud. The cabin is beautiful and in a lovely location. Quiet at night and in the morning, with just the sound of nature. The beds are comfortable and plenty of blankets available. The open fire is also lovely. The cabin is spacious and cosy. Internet was also good as was the TV.

El Toucanet Lodge & Restaurante poskytuje restauraci, zahradu, terasu a bar. Národní park Manuel Antonio se nachází 47 km odtud. Wonderful room, spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillows. Rich breakfast and a super staff member, Michael, very helpful and nice. There is even an excellent restaurant and we ate delicious food. Very recommended

Great location and nice mountain view. Wonderful staff, family-run hotel, we were greeted by the lovely and friendly grandmother who gave us good tips about the area and directions to a hike around the property and a hiking trail to waterfalls nearby.

Stunning location. Lots of birds around the property. The cabins are clean and luxurious. It was cold at night so the were extra blankets were nice. The decks off the back overlook the river. The staff are great. They recommended fantastic restaurants. Try the local trout. The breakfast at the property was the best we had in Costa Rica! We also went on the quetzel tour in the morning which didn't disappoint. It was given by the owner who knows loads about quetzels.

Trogon Lodge se nachází 1,5 km od centra města San Gerardo de Dota a 9 km od národního parku Los Quetzales. Má velkou zahradu, terasu a gril. Pokoje mají terasu a vlastní koupelnu se sprchou. The whole place was exceptional. Just beautiful

Perfect tiny house perched at +2000m high in the mountains with an unbeatable view on the valley below all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Hard to beat if you want some quiet, or hike in the mountains. It's small but functionnal, clean, with proper hot water and easy access. The hosts live nearby and have been very responsive. Pura Vida!
