Tremendous place to stay. If you are willing, and able, to drive 15 minutes to Dominical (the closest spot) for lunch and dinner, then this place is absolutely worth visiting. Almost newly built with large rooms, and a beautiful garden. Emanuel and staff was so helpful and friendly. Me and the family really enjoyed our 4 nights here.

Canl Grande Lodge is a very cozy hotel not far from San Josè International Airport, immersed in nature. The staff was utmost kind and helpful in assisting me since my luggages weren't loaded on the flight and I didn't have anything with me, apart from a little bag. The hotel provided me with basic stuffs in a stressful moment for me. Breakfast was very good, definitely to come and stay more nights in this hotel. The cleanliness of the room and the transfer service from the airport arranged by the hotel were very appreciated.
