Very clean and tidy cottage. If the weather is nice, you can see the northern lights at outside of the cottage directly or nearby the cottage. The whole environment makes me feeling so peaceful. Highly recommend this!!

The views are fantastic and the comfy armchairs invite to linger. Very quiet and peaceful. We would have liked to have stayed a bit longer to go on walks and explore the valley. Very good restaurant on site where we booked a delicious dinner and had a good breakfast. The staff was very friendly.

Bed is very comfortable. There’s a beautiful lake just at the opposite side of the road and it’s very nice to have meals looking out. Definitely will book here again if I come back to Iceland.

A beautiful and very modern cabin in a serene setting with almost no one around. Exceptional attention to detail with nothing left to chance. Excellent shower and bathroom. Very spacious, super modern even by hotel standards, with a really comfy bed. Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. If you are the area and looking for peace and quiet, look no further - very highly recommended!

There are many places to walk and the cabin is within walking distance of The Rockin' Troll Restaurant which was great! We highly recommend!

Loved this place, yes the cabin is very small so we left our suitcases in the car but for the price and location it was one of our best stays on our 16 day ring road trip People mention problems with the hot tub but when we stayed the owner met us and explained how it worked and it was really great. Make sure you visit the turf houses nearby - next to the hotel with a pool in the distance.
