Getting to the center of Kandy is easy: take a tuk-tuk or hop on a local bus, which runs frequently. The host is an incredibly kind, hospitable, and responsive person, always ready to assist with anything you need. You can tell he truly loves what he does. He also has a wonderful dog, which makes the place feel even more welcoming. A pleasant surprise for me was that they sort waste here, which is rare to see. For just $13 a night, you won’t find a better place to stay in Kandy!

The place is clean and there is a warm shower in the bathroom. The location is very convinient and you can have a nice walk to The Lion Rock from there. The recommended restaurant was also very good. We would definitely recommend staying there!

The rooms were spotless and the ac worked perfectly. The rooms were also very big with room to make yourself at home. What we loved most was the kind host family, they were so helpful and sweet to us. Also the breakfast was amazing. My boyfriend is a big guy and he ate very well and was never hungry. Absolutely would stay here again if we ever return and would recommend staying here to my friends and family
