This place has everything: it’s very close to Windhoek yet surrounded by greenery, offers the chance to interact with friendly giraffes at breakfast, provides a delicious dinner package, and despite our late check-in, we were warmly welcomed with smiles from the staff. Stofpad proved to be the most hospitable place we stayed during our 3 weeks touring Namibia. The accommodation was fully equipped and extremely comfortable, the shop provided all the necessary basics, their Stofpad craft beers were great, and all the staff were delightful, exceptional helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The walking track was lovely, the views expansive and the space serene and so relaxing. Overall we loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Highly recommended on all counts.

Gmundnerberghaus is a hidden gem. The cottage is incredibly tidy, cozy, and well-maintained. The views of the green hills surrounding the property are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. A major plus: the actual location and atmosphere are even better than the pictures suggest! The photos on the website are modest compared to the wonderful reality. Highly recommended for a peaceful and beautiful escape.

We stayed for one night. The lodge has a really nice atmosphere. Great and clean swimmingpool. Dinner and breakfast facing a waterhole with animals. Staff is very friendly and correct. Beds were super comfortable and long enough for tall people. All in all one of our best stays in Namibia.
