The uniquely designed units at Desert Quiver Camp come with a spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower. The units include a covered patio area, fitted with kitchenette, fridge, seating area and barbecue facilities. Very big, clean rooms. Rooms are at a good distance from each other which feels very private. We ordered the braai package (a lot of choice and you can choose what you want) and enjoyed making our own BBQ. Swimming pool is also really nice. Location is very close to the gate.

The staff were lovely, friendly and fun. The food was so good, well presented. Two evenings we had bbq in a lovely outdoor space and the other evening a special dinner on the patio overlooking the Plains. Went on two trips, an excursion to soussusvlei and a sundowner trip to watch the sunset from a great viewpoint. Even had time to spend an afternoon by the pool. A great, relaxing few days in the middle of our holiday.

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant.

The African themed rooms are fitted with air conditioning and offer views of the indigenous garden. The private bathroom comes with a shower and towels. Staff bent over backwards to make us comfortable. We are vegan and made sure we always had nice things to eat.

Each of the units at Agama Lodge has a deck area with views of the Naukluft Mountains. They also include a writing area, and a private bathroom with a shower. I was looking for a place that is between Swakopmund, Sossuvlei from Windhoek. This place is statically located in the middle. So I went to Soss one day and upon checking out I saved over an hour to drive to Swakopmund. Value for money, the room was spacious with rooftop, you can tan & watch stars later at night. Stunning Mountain View from the lodge and the restaurant . Staff were very welcoming and kind, they made me feel like home. Food was amazing! Chef was generous. Most importantly booked a private tour to the dunes, the guild Silva and the driver were amazing! They were very helpful and knowledgeable, Silva walked with me from the parking to the top of the Big Daddy dune, he knew how to take awesome pictures and videos too. The tour was included park fees as well.

A continental breakfast is available at the lodge. This place is absolutely magical! A HUGE THANK YOU to Ronaldo who is an absolute superstar and you can tell has a true passion for what he does. From the moment he picked us up, he made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. He thought about our itinerary of activities, our meals, accommodates changes in our schedule and even liaised with the kitchen on providing lunch bags for our journey back. Wolwedans and the NamibRand Nature Reserve in general is an experience of a lifetime. The nature, the values of Wolwedans to the food, the night sky, the knowledge of each staff member. We even received a sweet letter and sparkling wine as it was our honeymoon. This place is a 10/10

Situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, Hoodia Desert Lodge offers accommodation close to the Sesriem Gate. The lodge offers an outdoor pool.

The main building hosts a restaurant with fireplace, a bar area and a lounge deck. Very nice and quiet lodge in the middle of the desert, yet not that far away from the main road and Sossusvlei/Deadvlei that it was a pain to get there. The lodge has a lovely staff that took care of us in an excellent way. Also the day tour they provide is very much worth it. They provide spacious, clean lodges with warm showers. Also the food was great.

With Sesriem Canyon reachable in 46 km, Namib Outpost features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Excellent employees, helpful, friendly and welcoming. Great location and the watering hole meant I got to see more animals than expected. Given was an exceptional guide for my tours also.
