We loved this lodge from the moment we arrived. We were welcomed by Deb and shown to our room which was amazing. Hearing the back story to this delightful lodge was both sad and heartwarming. The love and dedication and hard work to make this lodge a special and memorable place has truly paid off. The rooms are exquisite, the common areas are welcoming and the wide verandah is gorgeous. What is not to love about this place. The unexpected home cooked breakfast on our first morning there was delicious also. A departing hug just sealed the deal - this was a special place!!!

Mountain View Lodge & Cabins nabízí sezónní venkovní bazén, terasu a ubytování s klimatizací, balkonem a bezplatným Wi-Fi. Mount Rushmore se nachází 18 km odtud. The location was just beautiful. The deck and patio is a great place to just relax. There was so much to see and do around the lodge as well as a very nice Hill City with lots of souvenir shops and restaurants.

We loved our stay here. We book the place last minute and it was one of the best stop during our road trip. The staff is kind, the place is quiet and feels very relaxing, other guests are respectful. You pretty much won’t hear a sound even in the evening while everybody is relaxing around their campfire. Room is clean, bathroom is clean. You are 15mins by car from Rapid City. I would love to come back here and stay longer.

The view of the woods, together with the deer, wild turkeys, and hares, makes the experience even more enchanting.

It wasn’t super busy early and it was quiet at night. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating.

Situated right in town but you feel isolated up on the hill. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Check out the Moccasin Springs Spa, they do a 2-hour mineral pools pass that’s very reasonably priced.
