Vanessa and Derek are amazing hosts, very welcoming and helpful. The nearby Botrivier Lagoon and Rooisand Nature Reserve are excellent for hiking or walking, relaxing and birdwatching.

This retreat is located in quiet Swellendam in the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains. The spacious rooms feature modern décor with rustic touches and living areas with flat-screen satellite TVs. LOVED this place! It was romantic, comfortable, and so beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. Saxon Lodge was one of the best places to stay during our three week vacation in South Africa. The owners in particular were always very friendly and genuinely interested in us. We felt at home right from the start. All our questions were answered at all times. We were given an upgrade due to minor building work on our room. The location of the accommodation is perfect and the view of the harbor is magnificent. Thank you! We would stay here again at any time.

Situated on the cliffs of De Kelders, a popular whale-watching spot in South Africa, Sea Star Cliff offers luxurious rooms overlooking the sea. The lodge features a terrace with outdoor pool. Staff went above and beyond to help us. Very impressive. Also, you walk out to your balcony and you're instantly whale watching. An amazing experience. Wow.
