We have stayed at the One and Only Palm (which was exceptional) and decided to try this new one. They are very different in style and feel. The palm feels like a family home, very personal and comfortable. This one is ultra modern, city vibe with many dining options and nightclub etc but also outstanding. From the moment we arrived we were so impressed by the staff and the amazing property. We had dinner in StreetXO which was great and the breakfast was so good. Not just the usual huge buffet but a combination of A La Carte and buffet which was a very nice touch (no standing waiting for an omelette). We then spent the day at the infinity pool which was perfect (high end beach club feel) Thank you One & Only Za'abeel and staff!

The hotel exceeded my expectations in everything. Every member of staff I spoke with tried to help and made me feel welcome. I stained a favourite fabric shoe, and the housekeeping cleaned it within an hour free of charge. I mentioned to the manager that I might have preferred a different view, and they moved me to another room. Breakfast is nothing short of spectacular, especially with such views from the terrace. Technology in my room was state-of-the-art. Elegant and functional interiors. This is one of the few places I will try to return to. It felt really good to be staying and receiving visitors there.

Actually I loved everything from the first moment. Interiors are beautiful, amazing staff, attention to detail, I was upgraded to amazing suite as I was traveling with little son. Also no problem with early check in. The view it’s breathtaking! I really loved the pool, gym and kids room. I will be staying there next Thursday again and can’t wait! Spotless !

Various beaches and restaurants. ,all chosen by family. Water parks Vipe market and kite beach.Easy to get around by taxi at a reasonable cost.Also the sheer size and “Star Wars type vibe “making Dubai a super place to visit.

Everyone knows about Dubai: Great hotels, lovely restaurants, bars and hospitality. Huge range of shopping, albeit more expensive than the UK. However even in November it was still 31 degrees, and the constant building work, traffic and lack of wind means a permanent haze of pollution over the city. Will the building ever stop? On current signs, no. Unless you like sitting on a beach, 3 days is probably the perfect length of stay.

I go 4 times per year on business. JBR is a great place to stay if you like to walk to restaurants. It's close to the beach and a good place to base yourself for a vacation. Easy to travel for there.

Dubai has an amazing food scene.

Dubai has an amazing food scene. Options are endless and quality in most places is very high. Some business hotels do better on buffet than a la carte and restaurant staff seem to be inexperienced in etiquette.

Worst air quality. Traffic is hirandous. Taxi service pick and choose who they want take. They don't accommodate short distances. Private ubers charge whatever they like. Take it or leave it. No control placed for taxi drivers. Dubai is not for poor or middle class people. Dubai is all about biggest or tallest buildings. No care for people or environment. Planting trees and making more sustainable plants and play grounds for wellness would be great. "There is no life and work/balance . It's all about shopping and building malls and tallest investment properties. People work upto 18 hrs a day.

Excellent Hotel with an location, half way between DXB or Maktoum Airports, direct access to a Mall with grocery stores, food court...etc, tram stop is in front of the building, metro ...etc. Honestly I truly believe that this is the best location in the entire Marina. You can be quickly on Sheikh Zayed if you want or use any of the public transportation nearby. They definitely have the largest and the funkiest pool in the Marina, the staff is amazing. Im a very picky traveller but this Hotel met all my expectations! Well done.

Location for the beach and Marina are excellent, with lots of pubs, restaurants, fast food in the location. 5 mins walk to the tram to take you to the metro if you want to go to the big Dubai Mall. The hotel has a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, which I used. Also a gym. We also had full board and meals times were good and long. All staff in the hotel were so nice and helpful. Breakfast 6.30-10.30 Lunch 1-4 Dinner 7-10.30 There is also an Indian restaurant in the hotel and a Starbucks type of coffee shop.

I loved their nice and quite pool and the staff were super friendly and respectful. The food was great. The location of the hotel is ok, far away from the Marina Dubai. At Burj and mall you can go by metro, which is a 2-minute walk from the hotel, or taxi, which is cheap. There is a cafeteria nearby with very good desserts, coffee, and sandwiches. Also a nice Lebanese restaurant and a pub.
