The view in the room is really stunning and the facilities of the hotel are of high quality and even disable-friendly. The location is really good next to the seaside (5-10 minutes walk) and loads of cafes and restaurants. The owner of the hotel is really helpful and joyful. She is the gold of the hotel. She would treat you like her own daughter. If I come back next time, I will stay here without any hesitation.

Beautiful, charming city hotel. very neat, we stayed in a recently renovated luxurious and spacious room with a very nice bathroom. incredibly friendly host and hostess, they give good tips and do everything to make their guests happy. very good location to explore the city and the coastal region. We stayed in this hotel because we had a wedding in Durres. The hotel was brand new, very clean and staff was very kind. They allowed us to have a bit of a late check out so we could get ready for the wedding. They also were able to delivered an iron for clothes to get ourself ready. They have private parking and everything was around 5 min by car. Very worth it for the money paid.

The place was wonderful, ithe room was nice and very clean . We arrived at 03.15, but that was not a problem. The owner came and helped us. He and his staff are very friendly and they will help you with everything. Also with parking if needed. I was happy with the small rental car. The breakfast ( a la carte) was delicious and you could order what you want. And after breakfast you could go for a walk on the beach. I highly recommend this place. .

This hotel gives you a lot of value for your money. It is located at 15 minute walking distance from the beach, boulevard and tourists spot. Tons of coffee places, Bakeries and grocerie shops nearby. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. A large bed and small fridge. WiFi worked super fast ⏩. The shower was very good and everyday the nice cleaning ladies cleaned the room. In the morning breakfast was being prepared, no buffet but freshly and it was one of the better breakfasts I've had in a while. Freshly baked eggs, sausages and cheese. You have the breakfast in the bar under the hotel, wich is a lively place where many locals come for a morning coffee or breakfast. The staff gave me such welcoming feeling, always genuinely friendly and helping me with everything. They really know how to treat their guests and I have no words to express how great they all were.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history. plenty of shops, people were helpful, plenty of small bars most selling food at very reasonable prices. A walk along the beach is recommended where there are many restaurants with lots of variety. if travelling i would recommend taking a bus as taxis are rather expensive i.e. a bus from the airport will cost 7 euro whilst a taxi will cost around 37 euro.

When we visited the busy season had finished so a lot of the restaurants were closed. I think the resort would be very lively in the main season. Would recommend visiting before the middle of September

We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.

I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam. All of my credit card purchases serviced by Raiffheisen Bank were declined at grocery stores for some reason. Several ATMS did not provide me with cash. I had to take cash out of an ATM that charged me $50 US Dollars to take cash out, because the card servicer wasn't approving the card transactions at the grocery store. I have not had this serious of a problem in any other country. I didn't really explore a lot. I wish there was a store that carried camping/hiking equipment. I think the coastline is nice. The restaurant prices seem to be reasonable. Mostly I stayed in my room at my hostel by myself so I can't really be reliable to rate the entire city.

Know where you are going and evaluate it accordingly! Durres is a city that is developing at a rapid pace, including the coast, the port and the city. The coastal promenade began to be transformed in 2022 and it turned out beautifully! It has one shortcoming, there is no garbage collector anywhere by the sidewalk, despite this, there is no garbage anywhere. Along the coast, you can still see the buildings left from the 19th century fishing village, some of them are still inhabited (!), in some places there is still a pile of garbage, beggars walk around in the evening, but the sea is fine, the transformation of the coast was very successful. Getting into the city from the hotel row by bus is inconvenient. It is nice to see how the city and the coast are completely transformed and modernized over the years. In 2025, three new hotels will be built on the hotel row, within a kilometer, and the handover is scheduled for 2026. Let's take a look! The food is pretty much the same everywhere, good, as are the prices, but the hospitality at the DELFINI restaurant is excellent! The people are nice and friendly. The traffic, oh my, you have to pay attention! The one whose car is ahead has priority. They honk, but despite that, they are patient and understanding with foreigners. In previous years, there was a concrete-lined beach area in front of some hotels, which was being cleaned up. Unfortunately, the concrete pieces can still be found underwater, which is very unpleasant to step on. Beachgoers throw the concrete pieces onto the beach, and the garbage truck takes them away the next morning. It would be nice to sift this out with a machine! In Italy, we saw a tractor that sifted and cleaned not only the beach sand, but also the sand in the shallow water. It should be done here, too!

This was our first time to visit Albania. The hotel is beautiful, modern and unobtrusively decorated. The reception staff are very friendly and jump in to help with limited parking every time. We liked that care for the guests. The rooms are large and spacious. Our room was on the ground floor, so we had a terrace. Restaurant at the top of the hotel. Wow!! We definitely plan to return in the future. Thank you!

Adriatik Hotel was amazing! The staff were attentive- from the reception team to the cleaning staff and the waiters/waitresses at the restaurants. Good size twin room with decent breakfast. On the beachfront with free use of sun loungers (but we didn’t make use of these so can’t comment fully). We stayed here as a quick overnight stop off while driving to the south of Albania, and it was very easy to get to from Tirana airport. Free parking outside the hotel.

Giulia Albergo is my favorite boutique hotel in city of Durres, Albania. The hospitality and the people are amazing 👏 most of all the kindness and hospitality of Mr.Ilir, the owner, is wonderful. I will recommend 10/10 this Hotel, not to mention the hearty breakfast , go and try it!
