I loved my stay at this hotel! The room was incredibly spacious and featured a lovely balcony with stunning views overlooking the beach. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, keeping the room perfectly cool. Everything was impeccably clean and fully equipped with amenities like a hair dryer, shampoo, and vanity items. The hotel's location was ideal; there were plenty of supermarkets within walking distance, and it was in a peaceful area away from the bustling beach bars, which were just a five-minute walk away. Overall, it was a fantastic experience in a great location.

Amazing view from balcony and terrace. Restaurant is on the top floor with almost 360 panoramic view. You have opportunity to calmly eat breakfast and contemplation sea view. The whole stuff, wainters are extremly polite and friendly. The owners are really helpfull and open to longer conversation. Thay are curious of world. Thank You for all. meleks transfer to and from beach are included on price. Near to mosque for us was add value. Safety surrounding , short walk to nice fish restaurant.

We, my 2 kids and I ,spent 5 days in this super hotel.We loved every minute! We were travelling with taxi from the airport, we booked by Booking and it costed 42 euro. On the way back we used a local Hungarian transfer ,which was only 10 euros pro person. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The cleaners are working from early morning until late evening. There is no sand in the hotel and by the pool! The staff are very friendly, very helpful. The food is very good too. The pool and the beach are lovely and clean as well. The surroundings are nice. There are small food stores and restaurants. You can exchange as well. As I don't drive we stayed by the hotel. We booked only a day trip to Tirana by a local tourist office, which was also very good. To tell the truth I can't write anything bad about this hotel and the area. We are very satisfied. 🥰

Didn't feel like Albania - very nice spacious beach with a shallow calm sea. Some areas are developed and others are not, covered in rubbish and derelict buildings. Lots of shops selling all you need.

It's inexpensive here, the sea is beautiful, but there are no attractions. And the biggest problem is cleanliness. There is a lot of trash on the beach, a lot of open trash cans, in some places it stinks of sewage, and in one place something is leaking from a large pipe right onto the sand on the beach. If you stay at a good hotel, you may not notice any of this. But if you go for a walk around the city, unfortunately, it is clear that there are major problems with cleanliness.

After almost 2,000 km traveled by car in nearly 30 hours due to countless traffic jams, we managed to arrive home without other problems, but of course extremely tired—yet with beautiful memories, to which you also contributed with your kindness and the valuable advice you gave us. We learned, with your help, that Albania is a beautiful country, still in a period of reconstruction, full of wonderful and hardworking people, always ready to help you with everything they can. But perhaps the most important thing is that they have not forgotten that Romanians and Albanians have been, and still are, brothers. We are connected by both past and present. The first thing that surprised us about our host was the outstanding cleanliness we found inside the apartment. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with absolutely everything necessary, air conditioning in every room as well as in the kitchen, clean bed sheets, immaculate white towels, etc. It has happened to me to stay in luxury hotels and not find this level of perfection. About the hosts, we have only words of praise. Even before our arrival, they checked if we were all right, if anything had happened, and during our entire stay they were always there for us—at any hour—through WhatsApp and even through Mr. Nardi himself coming to the apartment in person, even though they live quite a distance away. We were pleasantly surprised that we even had free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. At our departure, they even offered to help us if we needed anything. Sincere congratulations to these people who once again showed us that Albanians are people with big hearts, always ready to help you as long as you respect them and come with good intentions to their country.

Too much garbage on the streets.

Too much garbage on the streets. No big seaside walk (existing one is separated from the sea, cannot see). Lot of constructions, and some buildings are abandoned. 7 euro per person for the beach (formally for umbrella? or per person? or per bed under umbrella? absolutely no info, no sign). This is cheaper than Spain/Italy/Croatia but the sea shore is not cleaned from algae. The sand is not cleaned. I would agree to 3-5 euro, or 15 for the family. Groceries, takeouts and cafeterias are mostly affordable and good. Fresh fruit street vendors are working long hours, I appreciate this. Night life exists, IMO lacks some relaxation, I don't know why. Generally lack of information is really a barrier -- for example prices are often not written, people speak Italian so I decided not to put effort to buy something. There was a feeling that different tourists can get different prices, and that's not fair, Please note Google street views from 2016-2019 are VERY OLD, now in 2025 much of Golem / Robit is seriously rebuilt and Google did not update. They don't have good address system so it is hard to explain what I recommend, but let's try: on Rruga Quemal 2504 (?) there is "Traditional restorant" / "I love albanian food" near SPAR, the food is great.

The beach is soft sandy, the water is shallow, good restaurants, nice people. Very good food at Mirage Hotel Restaurant, and especially at the hidden Fish and Sea. Nice pizzas in Pizza Italia, overall very cheap prices. Beautiful beach bars all around. The waves can be high. Still we are in Albania, so lot of poor people, garbage on the roads. You can hardly pay by card, get some leks at the beginning. The streets and infrastructure is poor, cars are parking and driving as they want. Still nobody wants to screw you (at least nobody wanted to screw us) and everybody is helpful and friendly.

Golem is a developing resort with plenty of building...

Golem is a developing resort with plenty of building projects on the go. A family resort it offers plenty of restaurants, supermarkets & bars. In the evenings The beach front promenade comes alive with activities such as bumper cars, air hockey, children’s rides. Like any resort it’s extremely busy in high season. Near by Durres is easily accessible by car,bus or taxi and is only 50/60 mins to the capital Tirana.

The location was exceptional. It was spectacular to have dinner by the seaside, sitting on our balcony while watching the sunset. I appreciated the sliding doors that opened up the living room space bringing fresh Albanian air in, and the facilities were all clean. There were cooking utensils and toiletries provided which made our stay more convenient. Amir was a great host, providing us with useful information from check-in to check-out. It was like a home away from home. Thank you Amir and Julie for this wonderful experience!

The hotel consists of multiple en-suite bedrooms and a large restaurant specialising in authentic albanian cuisine. Complimentary breakfast is genuinely delicious. Airport transfers organised by the hotel ease off the stress of organising a transport or falling a victim to fraud. The room is spacious and well taken care of. It takes nothing for the entire family of hosts to warm up to you, and they are very helpful answering the questions regarding the local area and customs.
