The staff were incredibly attentive, pleasant, and happy to assist with booking a taxi and dinner recommendations. Also their knowledge of the building, its history, and the antiques that fill its halls was a pleasant addition to their great service. Surprising last minute book that gave us everything we could have wanted. The best location we could have asked for under the lights of the cathedral next door, that people have to travel from afar to see. We booked modestly but received a spacious room complete with modern walk in shower , flat screen and a UK super king size bed which was very comfortable. You can walk down in your pjs and catch the fountain lightshow every hour from 8pm outside of the plaza and / or get a coffee from directly below. Can be noisy until 12ish pm..... but you're in Argentina....if you're not going outside you're not travelling south America properly. We loved it and would stay again. With the blue dollar rate this room cost us £20 in total for a night......well worth it with or without the excellent rate as of June 2023...if you walk directly down the road to the fruta bae neuvo cordoba (cross over one block) about 5 minutes towards the bus terminus direction you'll also have your best breakfast in south America....french toast with berries or actual gigantic croissant ( not a sorry medialuna) with a strong smooth coffee more European style( not a burnt tasting bitter coffee like I'm sure you're getting used to by now). You're welcome European amigos!

An ok hotel, very anonymous though.

An ok hotel, very anonymous though. I was there 5 nights and had to pay for a coffee at the last day when departing. breakfast would cost US$ 20. What a joke. Door lock was three times falsely programmed (your handy interfered!). No day light in the breakfast room, for lunch and dinner just one option. Rather poor if you ask me. Centrally located, but that’s really the only plus point. Sorry.

The location was good but the hotel is in a horrible state...

The location was good but the hotel is in a horrible state of disrepair. The elevators did not work for my entire stay. I had to access the 6th floor via stairs. The heating system did not work and my room was between 26 and 28 degrees the entire 3 night stay. Managment continuously told me they would fix the temperature in my room but never did as they said. I asked every day and was told everytime that they are fixing the problem. The problem was never addressed and they lied to me when I first checked in and told me the heat was due to the sun shining in the room and the Hvac being turned off becasue the room was vacant. This turned out to be a lie as they knew the HVAC was not functioning, and was never fixed my entire stay. Im sure they are still selling this problem to others now as well.

Cordoba is a good example of what happens when you don't...

Cordoba is a good example of what happens when you don't have good urban planning. There are some beautiful buildings here and there but there is no real old centre even thought the city was founded in 1573--450 years ago--and has the oldest university in the country! Instead one finds high rises built helter skelter and so there is no harmony to the city. Also, most of the facades are blackened by dirt and pollution. We took a city tour by bus but the narrator had little to say in English compared to the Spanish version. It was not worth the expense. The people, however, are lovely and friendly and the cost of eating is low for tourists with US dollars. If we ever come back, it will be to visit the many attractions in the province, which will require renting a car. I advise you to go online to see what to do and see in the city.

Very nice historic centre.

Very nice historic centre. Also very nice art galleries and museums. Found some good restaurants and cafes. Visited Alta Gracia and the Che Guevara museum. Only off putting thing was Neuva Cordoba although pleasant full of bars and nightclubs which make sleeping difficult.

Cordoba is the 2nd largest city in Argentina and has seven...

Cordoba is the 2nd largest city in Argentina and has seven universities so the population is pretty young. It is a great city to walk in as it has several pedestrian only streets through the downtown. I recommend the City Tour Bus to get a sense of the central area. Many great cafes and restaurants. Several museums and art galleries worth seeing. Taxis are everywhere and cheap for US visitors. The exchange rate is changing daily so get your money in an ATM early in the day as they run out.

The apartment was in a secure block of flats, only about 10 minutes walk from the centre and practically next door to a large, modern shopping centre. It was exactly as shown in the photos, quite spacious but showing a few little signs of wear and tear….. but was absolutely fine for us. Our host, Pablo was excellent! Very friendly, helpful and communicative. He gave us loads of suggestions for places to visit both in Cordoba city and the surrounding area.

We had a great time in Cordoba thanks to the reservation we chose: the apartment is newly renovated in a safe central area. Everything in the apartment is new, comfortable pillows and a mattress. Lots of dishes, all the necessary appliances. Mara is a very pleasant and polite hostess, always in touch when needed. We definitely recommend this apartment

Cheaper accommodation than the hotels I’d been staying at in the first six days of Argentinian travel. Good opportunity to meet other travellers (three English speaking solo travellers) and exchange/learn some information. Good walking proximity to most sights and easy access to the bus station.

Very nice place, good location in the city. Very close to the Center and the beautiful Paseo de las Artes. The guy working there spoke very good english and was always very kind and helpful. If we are ever in Córdoba again, we will come back!
