The family running the hotel were incredibly friendly, more than accompany and helpful. The beds were insanely comfortable and duvets were so cosy!! Our experience at this hotel was truly excellent! We were very pleased to receive our room earlier than expected, which made our day much easier. The room was beautiful and spacious. As a bonus, we received a sweet gift from the hotel upon arrival, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, as was the gentleman who assisted us with our luggage. The only small note would be for the older gentleman, likely the concierge standing near the reception, to be a bit more cheerful. However, this was just a minor detail that didn’t affect our overall impression. The hotel offers great services and lovely rooms. We especially thank the entire staff for making our anniversary even more special and turning our stay into an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this hotel and give it a 10 out of 10! Once again, thank you for the warm welcome and for the early check-in.

This was truly an exceptional stay. We went to this hotel for a relaxing few days in spa and it was beyond our expectations. Starting from rooms and ending with the food - everything was great. You can even order to sleep on the herbal pillows - which gives you an extra relaxation. Spa is really great with many saunas and swimming pools, natural lake. Definitely will come back!

Literally, one of the best hotels we’ve ever booked! Hosts were welcoming and friendly. Provided lots of information on the region, including restaurants, things to do, places to visit etc. Rooms were clean and comfortable. High quality materials and great comfort in all areas. And the SPA - we were amazed by the spa and the pools! Never expected such a great relax and spa zone. You have access to a spa bar, calm relax zone, and as many towers as you might need! This was the first time I was not supposed to ask for a dry towel. Also, the breakfast was delicious - great variety and good food quality. Nearby, there is an Italian restaurant - a must visit for dinner. Last but not least - free parking, e-charging station and private lake! And the lake! Wow, such a beauty! 10/10 and this is the first time I am giving such a rating on booking!

The staff is fantastically helpful and friendly. Ulrika is simply charming. The hotel has one of the best Austrian cuisine restaurants in the city. Located away from Salzburg and perched on a hilltop, the setting is as majestic as it is romantic! The church and its extraordinary interior, situated just above the hotel in the heart of a verdant park, offer a commanding view of Salzburg and its castle. Gasthof Maria-Plain is as beautiful inside as it is outside! Perfect!

As part of the accommodation, there is a large restaurant downstairs. The food is very tasty!!! The apricot dumplings are divine. There is a church next to it, the bells are not too disturbing. Beautiful view of Salzburg. Peaceful surroundings.

the most beautiful little boutique hotel. not so little though. the room is sooo spacious, bathroom is spacious, and the view is fan-tastic. they set up a little seating corner at the end of the hallway at my floor and it was the prettiest thing. the road up to the hotel a little narrow and dark if you drive in the middle of the night.

The location is not too far outside Salzburg but away from the busyness, parking for our motorcycles was easy and next to the hotel for free, though on the open street. There is a Chinese restaurant around the corner for an evening meal. The breakfast was good and overall it was OK for a 1 night stop over.

Rooms were very good, breakfast was delicious. We arrived late, but the property provided instructions how to get the keys, which we did without any problem. The hotel has a large parking, which was important for us.
