The location is very good and not too expensive like other hotels in Vienna. U2 metro line is 5 min to walk. next to the metro station there is a supermarket. City center is the last station of U2 and it will take about 30 mins to go to the center. In the hotel room there is a small kitchen where you can cook. Loved everything about our experience here from the moment we arrived (early) to when we left. Kids were delighted with the facilities and could have spent the whole stay in the room. Bar food was divine and service was exceptional. Trying to contact hotel to find out the brand of bath and spa products in the hotel so we can recreate mood at home. We had such a wonderful stay at Plaza Inn Gasometer. While it is away from the main tourist sites, it is a short walk from the metro/U-bahn, making it easy to reach them. A similar hotel closer to the center would be more expensive. We requested a room with an extra bed for our child, and to our surprise, we got a family room, with a two-bed room entirely for himself. The hotel is eco-friendly, so cleaning happens at request by hanging a sign on the door knob. Breakfast deserves an entire chapter. For a start, the staff is very friendly, there are several types of food and drinks and it perfectly served my gluten and dairy free restrictions. Bread and scrambled eggs without milk were brought upon request, and they have a separate coffee machine with vegan "milk". We would definitely stay here again.
