First we overnight at Wurlerhof Pensión with breakfast. Excellent accommodations, great bathroom with warm towels. Austrian humble and loving hospitality with breakfast included. Homemade mermelade, bread, own hen eggs. A dream. Then went up for the experience, that connection of solitude and power at Grossglockner.

A pretty alpine village, with the option of doing your shopping without necessarily going down to Lienz or Mattrei. If you leave the valley by bike, remember to save some energy for the climb back up from Huben.

The Hohe Tauern National Park is certainly one of the most beautiful places in Austria. It's a bit of a shame that of the numerous mountain lifts, only one (the cable car) operates in summer, while the chairlifts do not. This would significantly expand the hiking opportunities, especially for less athletic visitors.

A fantastic ski resort with many slopes, and even though it didn't snow much, the snow cannons were always in use, ensuring the slopes were skiable. For warmth and a meal, we could relax at the Gamsalm inn. We ended our evenings with delicious food in Kodnitzhof – highly recommended!

A magnificent place, no glitz or glamour, no shops, just nature and meadows surrounding the houses, plenty of space. Restaurants with decent, well-presented, and reasonably priced meals. The mountain hut is very pleasant, both in terms of service and food.

Gradonna is a resort perfectly incorporated into the surrounding nature, with top products , top chefs and top design, which should be enough to make it irresistible to every nature loving tourist. However what makes it really stand out is the amazing staff, who are all, without exception, among the best we have ever had contact with. they are the reason we will be coming back.
