As soon as we arrived, we immediately felt welcome. The lady that greeted us at the front desk was very quick, polite and helpful and we really appreciated being treated like people rather than just ‘another customer’. The bed was very comfy, slept like a rock! Cleanliness was a massive tick, didn’t feel uncomfortable to sit or rest my hand on anywhere, knowing it’s not filthy. Shower pressure was actually fine, it’s a lot lighter than ours at home but it wasn’t ridiculously slow like some other places I've stayed. Location wise it is right next to the mall, grocery shops and more! Perfect location no matter what your reason for travel is. I would stay there again, when we return!

Albury is a great place to break up a trip, for a few days, when travelling between Melbourne and Sydney. The Brew House in Dean Street is worth a vivst as they have good range of meals for lunch and dinner and a great variety of craft beers to meet all tastes.

Room was suitable for one night. Clean tidy and tea and coffee provided. Fridge etc. Bed was comfy.Bedd8ng and towels clean and fresh. View was of car ppark.so nothing nice about that. Poolwas grotty looking and water looked murky and on the front so you only had cars to watch zooming up the rd..we didn't use it as very disappointed with the position and look of it. The restaurant was closed and not open anymore..huge let down as we had a breakfast in it ..cold breakfast cereals, fruit yoghurt..it was lovely room and would be great to have dined in it. The staff were friendly . Check in was easy. Room wasn't ready but we had notified them our arrival time. It was a short drive to the beach front. Fuel was easy to find..check out prices cause some were very expensive. Motel was next to a BP fuel station.

Country location with a city feel.

Country location with a city feel. Great cafes and restaurants in both Albury and Wodonga. High end shopping centre. Short drive to wineries and and tourist towns like Beechworth, Bright and Yarrawonga. When ever I am in Albury I always stock up on great produce at Harris’s Farm Markets. Take a stroll through the Botanic Gardens.

It was just an overnight stop returning from Canberra.

It was just an overnight stop returning from Canberra. The city is relatively large and sprawling and difficult to navigate with compulsory turns etc. Signs pointing to "i" information were confusing, but after I gave up looking for it, I found that it was in the library and quite helpful for maps and brochures of things to do. For someone not familiar with the area, Wodonga (over the river) is much easier to navigate. In the evening I had dinner at the pizza restaurant (in the main street of Albury), but they also have pastas, mains, salads etc, and I was happy with my choice. The following morning I went to Gateway Island, on the Victorian side of the river, planning to do the 4-5 km Gateway Island trail, but actually ended up doing the Crossing Place Trail just over the road which was also 4-5 km with sculptures and information along the river bank.

The staff were incredibly friendly & supportive. The room was spacious & clean. Location was wonderful. We loved the Botanical gardens - Aurora - Tides of Treasure evening was terrific. We enjoyed our breakfast at ‘The River Deck Cafe’ & a lovely walk. The Monument in the evening was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed a picnic by the Hume Dam. Crocodile spring rolls are worth a try at the ‘ 2640 Restaurant and Bar’ Very easy to get around

The train station and the employee who is full of knowledge about the trains. Loved hearing his information, very informative. Botanical garden light show was excellent. Great price. the Memorial for the war on top of the hill was great. Love Albury and its old houses and history.

I recently stayed at the Astor Hotel Motel in Albury for one night. The location is quite convenient, being close to the highway, which makes it a good stopover for travellers. The bar and restaurant on site seemed pretty nice, although I didn't get a chance to try them. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth, taking place at the bar counter with clear signage indicating this. The room had good air-conditioning and Wi-Fi, which were definite pluses.

The hotel is located a short walk from the centre of Albury and its restaurants and cafés. The check in and out were quick and efficient. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed with lots of storage. It had good work areas and lighting. The bathroom had all the amenities we needed. For what it offered the room price was very reasonable.

The staff were amazing, very warm and good to have a laugh with. The rooms were spacious, clean and well stocked. The restaurant was fantastic with delicious food and a well stocked bar. Even though there was an event the same night we stayed they were very quiet. Will definitely be staying in an Atura hotel again.

Perfectly placed for trips to Dean Street, Harris Farm and a number of pubs. The property is spacious and very good for a family. The property is secure for your dog and has plenty of parking. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
