Palm Cove is busy but not overwhelming. Many restaurant choices and lovely beach walks. Shout out to the local council. They keep the public areas so neat and clean. The area is flat and easy access for disabled people too.

Palm Cove is a small beautiful area, very quiet if you are looking for a relaxing time. 9.30pm no-one around bars empty even at weekends. If life is what you are looking for then Port Douglas is bigger with more bars. We found nice restaurants in Palm Cove especially Vivo, meal outstanding. Nu Nu was a lovely setting, expensive and our table was like sitting on the medium strip of the Bruce highway, staff racing past not the relaxing atmosphere for a celebration meal more like a fast canteen!! Rattle n Hum food ok nice atmosphere. Live music at the Irish Bar food good

We loved our time at Palm Cove Hired a Car to get around, tho there are buses, that come quite frequently or grab an Uber Handy Supermarket, Bakery, Butcher, Chemist etc, at Clifton Beach, 10 Minutes from Palm Cove. So many great places to eat, along the strip. For a quick Pub style meal, you can't go past, the Surf Club Elgreko (Greek) was absolutely, delicious - however it is uptairs, so if mobility is a problem, perhaps, not for you Got a delicious Pizza from Rummble & Hum Lovely meal at Peppers Drove down to Yorkey's Knob, Boat Club, for lunch, about 25 Minutes from Palm Cove

Palm Cove is beautiful and super clean, every morning workers are picking up rubbish, clearing leaves, sweeping drains and making sure its super tidy for the guests enjoying the area. We were most impressed and enjoyed our stay.

A gorgeous spot in Far North Queensland about 30 minutes north of Cairns by car. Palm Cove has a great vibe with many restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from. You are surrounded by the beautiful rainforest and a lovely beach. Locals are friendly and welcoming. A great place to relax.

You can do as much, or as little as you like in Palm Cove.

You can do as much, or as little as you like in Palm Cove. Close to Cairns & Port Douglas for access to the reef, Mossman Gorge and the hinterland. The Wangetti Trail to Ellis Beach is a scenic 2 hr rainforest hike. There are also kayak tours to Double island. Yet, It can also be a sleepy, relaxing town, with a beautiful climate, and plenty of dining options if you just prefer to lie by the pool. Family friendly

We had an amazing stay at Imagine Drift! The pool was amazing, the room had a beautiful tropical view and was well set up with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent with the hotel only being a short walk from the main strip of Palm Cove, however it was still quiet and peaceful. The staff were all very friendly too. Great value for money. We would definitely come back again!

Loved the decor, beautifully decorated and comfortable furniture. Closeness to pool area, and amenities was perfect. We have stayed at Peppers a number of times and this was our best apartment experience yet. The owner looked after us so amazingly, going as far as snacks and a bottle of sparkling Rose to celebrate our stay and wedding anniversary, the personal touch given made us feel so welcome.
