A Cultural Oasis, Where East Meets West

Sarajevo could be described as a captivating oasis of European cities, where East meets West in an integration of diverse cultures and a fascinating history mixed with a fresh cosmopolitan and charismatic vibe.

A museum in itself, Sarajevo is a sightseeing and history lover’s haven from the numerous mosques, churches and synagogues, to historic landmarks such as Sarajevo War Tunnel and Latin Bridge. Afterwrads, you could wander through the Old Town, which is a world on its own.

Sarajevo’s cultural diversity means a large selection of local delicacies. Be sure to visit Sarajevo’s historic and cultural hub Baščaršija bazaar, an ancient trading place with cafés, restaurants, cosy bars, art, and loads of accommodation options.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Sarajevo!

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Sarajevo! The place was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location is perfect — close to the city center, restaurants, and public transport, but still quiet and relaxing. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making check-in and communication very easy. I really appreciated all the thoughtful touches and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sarajevo!

Sarajevo surprise me.

Sarajevo surprise me. The beauty of the winding canyon that lead to the city was breathtaking, the tall mountains were amazing. We learned so much about the War from people who experienced the terror and devastation. It is heartbreaking to hear and to know what men can do to other men, women and children. The people we met are now in our hearts. I wish I had realized what an amazing and beautiful country Bosnia is because I would have stayed much longer.

Great city, gracious people, delicious foods and a lot of historical and cultural artifacts to see. Also there are museums and locations that are important to learn about war, siege, genocide. One of the best cities that can teach us our humanity by good things that they have and bad things that they endured.

Sarajevo is a wonderful city to explore – full of history, culture, and charm. Its location also makes it a perfect base for discovering other gems of Bosnia, such as Srebrenica, Mostar, and the stunning Kravice waterfalls. Within Sarajevo itself, you can wander through the enchanting streets of Baščaršija, visit the sites of the 1984 Winter Olympics, enjoy countless cultural events and concerts, or take scenic walks in the beautiful surroundings of Mount Trebević.

If you like medieval history then Sarajevo is jam packed with it. The clock tower blew my mind. It was my favourite historical spot in Sarajevo. The guide from Meet Bosnia, who told us its history, was very knowledgeable. Sarajevo is quite small and we walked whenever we wanted to go anywhere. We ate at Dzenita - it's very central. Delicious! We loved their food, but we didn't stay long enough to try out all the dishes I wanted to try. We also tried out Brunch Sa's full breakfast dish, Brunch Sarajevo - what a treat! We got out of Sarajevo to visit the famous Pyramid of the Sun. Yes, it is real. The meditations are very powerful there. We are really looking forward to going there again.

Sarajevo is a hidden gem!

Sarajevo is a hidden gem! It is beautiful and green with so much history and charm. It is amazing how the city has bounced back after the atrocities happening not too long ago. Sarajevo is a very safe city and I learned so much from the museums. I hope more tourists come here and help the economy.

I booked this hotel right away because I booked the wrong date at another hotel. Surprisingly not expensive and includes breakfast. Sabrina, her husband and a lady who works in the morning were really helpful and friendly. Although there is music noise from the bar downstairs at night, I can fall asleep quickly with the window open. Also hotel is in a great Location. It's a super short walk to the main street and the bus stop to the airport.

The location is amazing, literally on the door step of the markets/bazaar. We were upgraded (through booking.com) to the superior suite and it was extremely spacious. Apartment had two TVs, large fridge/freezer, microwave oven, hob and kettle. The hotel manager was very helpful.

The apartment was very beautiful, spacious, super clean and had everything one needs. It's fully renovated. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious, which you don't usually get in a hotel room. We loved it and would be happy to book Irma's apartment again.

Hotel is in a great location. The first impression was excitement about the large suit we were booked into. A large living area, kitchen looked modern. The breakfast buffet and choices were good. Bed was comfy
