Beautiful room, wonderful breakfast (an adventure in itself), friendly host and good parking. - More Boutique Hotel than B and B. A lovely place to stay. Our room, De Zolder, was both large and beautiful, with an enormous comfortable bed, ample coffee and free chocolates, and a large spotlessly-clean bathroom. There were 2 flights of stairs to the room, up which our host insisted on carrying our luggage. In the morning, the downstairs and glass conservatory opens for breakfast to all guests and the public. We were served with the freshest, healthiest, and perhaps largest breakfast, you could ever hope to find. The fruit and fresh bread were particularly delicious. I would recommend a stay here to anyone. A note on the parking - after passing (with the property on the left hand side) take the next turn left, and the entrance to the small car park is on the left, about 100 yards down the street. There is a sign at the entrance of the car park.

The property is very beautiful and is set in the countyside so is nice and quiet. The breakfast was outstanding all the mornings that we were there. The bathroom had an amazing shower with lots of space and the bed was huge and so comfortable. There was also a fridge to store a few groceries in too. A TV, kettle, and a hair dryer are also provided and there is plenty of parking if you drive......and the hosts are really nice too!

A peaceful yet very pleasant region. Perfect for cycling. Try the bike ride along the Mark River. You can also cycle across the border into the Netherlands or to the colonies of Merksplas or Wortel. A beautiful beguinage is located in Hoogstraten.

We received a fantastic welcome.

We received a fantastic welcome. The parking right next to the B&B was priceless. Beautiful room, super beds, and good shower products, which were also important. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and made with fresh ingredients. A fantastic team. Our conclusion: highly recommended 11/10.

A beautiful village with more than enough restaurants and...

A beautiful village with more than enough restaurants and cafes, a wonderful cycling area (which we only explored a small part of), including the Wortel and Merksplas colonies. You're also close to the Dutch border; B@B de Toast also serves breakfast and lunch, so you'll definitely get a delicious breakfast.

There are many restaurants and other eateries.

There are many restaurants and other eateries. Eetcafé De Gelmel is highly recommended. The enormous church is a sight to behold. Also note the paving stones in the sidewalk at De Vrijheid. Hoogstraten is easily accessible from the highway and from Turnhout, yet peaceful.

The towns of Turnhout and Breda are not far away, perfect for a city walk or an afternoon of shopping. From Hoogstraten, you can take a beautiful 10 km (14 km extended) hike – the "waterolenpad wandeling" (waterolen path walk). Download the PDF at hoogstraten.be. 'De Jachthoorn' is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal.

A warm welcome in a beautifully restored farm building providing a generous room and after a good night's sleep a wonderful breakfast. Hoogstraten is a nice little town at walking distance with plenty of restaurants and bars.
