All the staff were super kind, accommodating and attentive. Nice rooms. Pleasantly surprised by the breakfast quality (eggs, ham/sausage, waffle iron on top of standard continental). Also an awesome fancy cappuccino/coffee/hot chocolate/french vanilla machine. Has a pool, small gym, and just generally everything was nice, new and clean. Definitely recommend. Just a quick 5 min car ride away from most things.

Absolutely wonderful lake house experience! The house is beautiful and sits right on the lake with direct water access. Guests can enjoy complimentary use of a canoe, kayak, stand-up paddleboard, and more—perfect for making the most of the stunning surroundings. It’s also an ideal base for exploring Algonquin Park. The manager is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this Lake House getaway!

Attractions far away: Crystal Cove. You should promote Sandhill to visitors. A local told us and it was one of the best attractions we visited but there was no brochure at our hotel. I would have like a local restaurant guide.

The town is so cute and there are lots of great shops and restaurants. The water is pretty and you must drive to the top of Lions Lookout to view the surrounding area. Try to go to Kawartha Dairy on HWY 60 for an ice cream cone We loved our breakfast at WIMPY's

Huntsville has so much to offer year round.

Huntsville has so much to offer year round. Lively downtown where there is always lots happening with the arts and athletics. The lakes and the boating are beautiful. Great ski trails etc in the winter.

The downtown is very cute- perfect for a relaxed afternoon...

The downtown is very cute- perfect for a relaxed afternoon stroll, and some cute restaurants and shops to peruse. Close to Algonquin Provincial Park as well as Arrowhead Provincial Park; staying in Huntsville is the perfect jumping off point for day trips to either park.

Love huntsville - and Hidden Valley is always like coming...

Love huntsville - and Hidden Valley is always like coming home as we brought our kids here for most winters and spring break. My family owned stores here and live here so I love Huntsville as it is a part of my family history so I am biased. Ewings vanity fair was my grandmother's store. so I have been coming here for 70 years plus ( wow I am mature)

Huntsville is a bigger town than it looks!

Huntsville is a bigger town than it looks! Lots of new buildings and homes in process The Museum was interesting and the lookout area was a beautiful spot to see Huntsville from an arail view. The leaves were beautiful ! People were friendly and helpful Close to Arrowhead Provincial Park and Algonquin and many trails. We loved our meal at the Place by the Lights downtown. Excellent Italian food and wonderful service The traffic was very busy and parking is hard to find downtown. We did end up finding a parking lot on a street behind the Main Street

Very nice and charming hotel, really liked the location close to the lake and 15 min drive from Huntsville; large and inviting lounge resting area near reception with a fire place and lots of space to relax; rooms were great in size and decor with comfortable beds. There was breakfast provided which was an added bonus. The owners are friendly and ready to help you if need be and doing a great job at maintaining the place.

I absolutely loved my stay here. I booked the room for my mother and me. It was her first time in Huntsville, so I wanted her to have a great experience. The location was perfect. It was walkable to shops, restaurants, parks, etc. The rooms were clean, the beds were excellent, and there was a big screened TV, which she was hooked on. For future visits, I will be booking this place again. Great Job!

Very nice and quiet hotel. Ample parking. Loved that everything was new. Fitness room was nice. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff. Especially Joan in the breakfast room went out of her way for guests. Close to Wendy's, close to downtown Huntsville. Overall, excellent value for money!

This motel has new owners. They have really made the motel nice by redoing all the rooms to brand new. The owners are very friendly and assure to make your stay a wonderful stay. Coming soon is the on-site restaurant. You will love this little gem 5 minutes north of Huntsville!
