The hotel itself it's very welcoming, decor, staff, ambience, it's really a pleasant place. The spa it's very well preserved and clean, and has everything one could ever need to relax and have a good time. The room was super clean and comfortable, the attention to details like little gifts or personalized welcome cards were the cherry on top! The restaurant it's also a must, very good food and professional staff. Breakfast was on point, a lot of variety and was the perfect way to end our visit to such a lovely place. Will definitely return, its simply one of the best hotels I've ever been!

Coming across this place as the first of its kind which would be suitable for disabled friendly. I would definitely count on it to bring elderly people on a trip to Swiss and host them here to be comfortable and to show them the best of Switzerland. We spent the NYE here, spending a quite time, enjoying a few fireworks from the neighbor hood and relishing the time walking around to explore a bit of the town. Also relished a view of the crystal clear sky and the stars, beautiful. Great views, very friendly staff, she gave us good insights about the local food and some places to go explore around. Stein am Rhein and Rheinfalls are definitely a recommendation to go check around.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Porto Sofie in Gottlieben! The charming 17th-century building, beautifully renovated with antique furnishings, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The location by the Seerhein is stunning, offering serene views and a peaceful vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied, and the on-site restaurant served delightful dishes. Perfect for a relaxing getaway—highly recommend.

Breakfast was very good. Location is beautiful right on the river....outdoor terrace in nice weather. We did not book a room facing the river but our view looked on the side at another hotel (not in use) and was very quiet and peaceful. Bathroom was decent size....very pink! Good shower. Safe bike storage but not protected from weather.

-Spectacular, very high water leven of the lake -Boutique Hotel, room number 60 with lake view was quite big -Even a thunderstorm prohibit us from open air evening meal, the food in the Restaurant was very good
