Staying at Jacky's guesthouse was an excellent choice. Jacky made our stay unforgettably beautiful. He suggested hiking trails running up and down the terraces so that we could observe nature and people very closely. On his trails were no tourists and in this really overcrowded touristic area was of great value for us. Thank you Jacky for sharing this experience with us and also for organising the transportation. Everything! Pugao Lao village, the hotel, the room, the staff and the great service. We were upgraded to a better room. Thank you Sam and team. We came during low season and there were not to many guests, just as we liked it. The weather was unfortunately against us but gaves us reason to come back again to this place. Hopefully soon.

Like someone else said in a review, it is like staying at a friend's. Lucy is very caring, she helped organise transport from the main city to her house and she took me on a wonderful hike through the rice fields for the whole day. The room was clean and quiet. Her house is 2 minutes from magical view on Duoyishu rice terraces for sunrise
