Location was great, breakfast was good, apartments are really big but cozy, housekeeping is very clean, the whole resort is super nice. But what/who really made the whole stay exceptional was Barbara and Irina. Friendliest and most helpful people I've ever met. They live for what they do and their hospitality is just beyond!

We had 3 double beds, a Porch all around the Appartment. The view from the Porch was magnificent. A big outside Kitchen. Nice Swimmingpool. with the same view. We had a Car, so everything was within 15 Minutes. What you see in the pictures was true, but even bigger.

Perfect stay. Spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds and good shower. The swimming pool area was so lovely and calm. The bird- and monkeysounds make it even better. Staff is very nice and everything is well aranged. Breakfast is yummy (you get to choose from a menu). The location is perfect (quiet yet central) and the on-site yoga lessons are a plus.

Alfredo and all other staff members were amazing hosts! Super helpful, kind and made us feel right at home in the beautiful small sustainable resort! We loved the pool and our bungalow, I enjoyed spending the early morning in our hammock. Great location for surfing, beaching and enjoying sunsets at the beach nearby!

Absolutely everything was beyond what I expected. The rooms were designed for pure rest — quiet, dark, with heavenly beds and linens. They even had a projector for watching movies and a fully equipped kitchen. The hotel is very close to the beach, right where Banana Beach is — my favorite spot to watch the sunset. The staff helped me rent an ATV for our entire stay, so we got to explore nearby beaches. My girlfriend took the surf lessons they recommended and says she’s got a new hobby now. We also got the breakfast and dinner package, and it exceeded our expectations — the quality was that of a high-end restaurant. Dreamcatcher, we’ll definitely see each other again.

Our experience at the Bluma Hotel was nothing short of royal! The entire staff provided excellent and courteous service, making my wife and I feel like royalty. The beauty of the hotel is particularly impressive - from the unique bohemian design to the stunning views of the forest and sea. The combination of attention to detail, personal service and luxurious atmosphere made our stay a dream. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience!

Well, the beach is beautiful, and the sunset is spectacular. However, the main road is a complete disaster. There is no pavement, the dust is overwhelming, and the road infrastructure is almost nonexistent.

We had a fantastic time at the beach this weekend!

We had a fantastic time at the beach this weekend! It’s perfect for surfing with super cool waves. However, be cautious if you’re traveling with kids. The beach wasn’t too crowded, and there are several restaurants right in front, so you don’t need to leave the beach for food and drinks. I really enjoyed that convenience!

Americanized beach town. Crowded waters to surf. Really bad infrastructure, roads are bad, no sidewalks and caos in traffic. The beach itself is very beautiful and the waves are nice. Just the vibe is either you love it or you hate it.

Santa Teresa for us was a completely disastrous in terms of development. I cannot even imagine anyone wanting to live there. The scenery once you get beyond the mishmash of stores 3 centimeters from the really poor roads is wonderful. It is a surfer place and nothing more. I would not ever go back for any reason

Santa Teresa has the most beautiful beach.

Santa Teresa has the most beautiful beach. There are so many places to eat that have great food. Santa Teresa does not feel as crowded as some other beaches in Costa Rica, and I honestly feel very safe there. I would highly recommmend this place.

The property is amazing.

The property is amazing. The pool is super cute, the rooms are spacious and modern. BUT the Beach Club/Restaurant charged us for things we didn’t order. We will always pay for everything we eat and drink but when things are added on our bills that we didn’t consume, we regretfully are super bitter. The hotel is looking into it and said they will get back to us. They have t yet. Also, they advocate that they are an adult only hotel but there were kids at the restaurant and at pool.

Great location (3min to the beach by foot, many restaurants around and supermarket not far), great surfspot at Santa Teresa. The tents are really nice and the bed comfortable. You also have a cabinet, which you can lock, to put your valuable stuffs. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Awesome vibes!!!

Really liked everything. Staff, room, AC even if only using it for a few hours, cleanliness, location (so close to the beach!), super quiet, very relaxed and calm environment which is rare in Santa Teresa.
